Your micro is obviously good enough for diamond/master level

Achievements are for fun. None of them mean anything. It's not odd at all.

Argh, level 30 is just impossible with any kind of delay. I've completed it several times in single player within only a few tries, but it's unbelievably frustrating with any kind of latency.

Just clutched the zergling baneling wave one. Sniped the final zergling when it was at full health and my final ghost/unit survived with 5 health left.

I'm only silver, but I did 28 of them. Only ones I can't seem to figure out are:
27 30
Edit: Was able to complete a few more after trying. Only two left above.

21) send each zealot to a different location, and use "hold position" so they don't cluster up. Here's what I did: http://www.twitch.tv/blazinghand/b/310564267 27) hold down the snipe key and click each baneling as it shows up. here's what I did: http://www.twitch.tv/blazinghand/b/310564267 29) once you figure out the trick to this level, it's basically the easiest. just shift-click the two outer marines around the outside of the map, then have the middle marine shoot. This takes like 20-30 apm, tops. http://www.twitch.tv/blazinghand/b/310564845
30) this one is legitimately mechanically hard. If you, like me, have bad mechanics, here's what you do: never select the tank. use the medivac always. right-click the tank with it, then click on the tank wireframe to drop the tank. get out a metronome and set it to 58 bmp (adiago)-- this is the beat of a stalker firing. Get into the rhythm, and just let the action flow out of you. http://www.twitch.tv/blazinghand/b/310501589

Ok I give up, level 30 and the banshee one are impossible without a really good connection.
Best level, ghost vs banes... nice trolling, Blizzard.

The ghosts vs banes one is... it's pretty hilarious. I was trying to double-snipe each bane at first before I realized that in this custom map specifically they had undone the nerf. I think qxc really knew what was up when he suggested 50 (-25 vs massive) as the snipe damage. On the other hand, it seems pretty clear that this map was designed before the ghost nerf was implemented (what with people finding the portrait long ago) and they were waiting to put it in. Some of the older challenge maps use old units too I think.

i did it! love the profile pic, very awesome XD

I really like a few of the maps for raw mechanics practice. The snipe one (even though snipe was nerfed still lets you practice rapid target firing), the banshee one, the "micro insanity" one if you're multi-casting isn't very good. Unless there's a difficulty setting to change I haven't found (nor really looked for), a lot of them are sort of silly. I'm not sure how useful the zealot split to deal with banes is, for example, but at the same time it helps you practice mechanically splitting units and putting them on hold rapidly. Or it's important to know that you can mineral click, or to charge a void ray when you can, but I'm not sure how much actual practice you can get out of either map.
Overall I think Darglein's is much better overall, but, that shouldn't surprise anyone.
Oh and the portrait is just awesome. Even if they are ugly as fuck fanart zergeling/banelings, they look kind of awesome.

Bnet is amazing - connect to internet to play a single player game with lag.

I gave up after trying 29 and 30. I just couldn't get my marines to turn gently enough. The vast majority where enjoyable though, the one I found most frustrating was "so many banelings"

30 is legitimately super difficult, especially with a bad internet connection. For 29, though, with some waypointing it's totally doable: http://www.twitch.tv/blazinghand/b/310564845

I beat it after fixing lag with resetting router and forwarding port 1119. Not sure which of that fixed it but with reduced lag, level 30 is much easier.
I wish they had a challenge where the role was reversed for the banshee marine game, so you're the ones using the marines to kill the AI kiting you. Also, a marine split challenge would've been interesting, despite it being an old idea.

Yeah well the world doesn't revolve around you, there are plenty of people who don't enjoy laddering and just playing to improve but find this rather interesting.

The banshee one and the medivac/tank was were complete headaches but in the end I managed. I did them in order too.

The level 30 is easily doable even with some lag if you do it later, because you won't be angry for trying etc. Even the banshee one is easy with a calm mind

I completed all 30 and i'm gold. Only one that was difficult was the one with the zealot split I hotkeyed every zealot after 10 mins and then got it in 3 tries.

God all but 28 is impossible for me...
