Agro obeys proximity, i.e., the zealot will chase the closest marine to it. This is why they agro on the side marines initially rather than the middle one. The trick is to keep the side marines close to the zealots while they pass by the middle one, pull to the rim of the arena, and then start kiting.

29 is super simple, I was able to complete it much quicker than many of the other tasks. The trick to this level is to only select two of the outer marines while leaving the marine in the middle idle. When the round starts, make the two marines from each side A-move forward just enough that they take a couple potshots at the zeals and make them run away. From this point on, you're selecting the two "side" marines and make them go in a circle around the middle marine. If you do it perfectly enough, you will have the two marines moving in parallel circles as the middle marine is killing both zeals as you continue to run.
28 is what I'm fucking losing my mind over... That and 30...

I seem to be too stupid for 30, I find it to be incredible difficult... other than 30, only the banshee took me some time. Snipe em banelings felt kinda easy, but 30 is just.. arrrgghhh. >.<
|
tips for 30: Start by puting the medivac in hold Use the d+click in the medivac to quickly drop the tank with minimal mouse movement. Other than that..just practice. It took me soo many times to make it, a

I can do 1-29 in 24 minutes and then 30 is kind of luck based. It all depends on if your tank targets the same stalker when it drops each time thus killing one stalker right away so you take much less dmg and can easily finish.

The baneling sniping one is literally impossible for me because of lag. I tried turning graphics all the way down, didn't help.
Anyone else getting this?

how do i get past level 16, I beat 15 and it just ends for me.

This order:
- Fungal on all Zealots
- 4 Infested Terrans around Zealots
- Keep Fungal up until energy is depleted

I mean I beat level 15 and it just tell's me "you've won" and I don't get additional levels.

Don't play through the map editor. Map is live on B.net. I think it's the top game under 'Featured' in the Custom games area.

It was fun and all, but I think Blizz shot themselves in the foot a bit here. Some of these show exactly why everybody from BW kept saying that there is really no micro in SC2 and why we don't really see some things in professional play much. The unit fire rates, turn animation rates, accelerations are all similar and kinda fast. That combined with the fact that every unit in SC2 has a small random delay for their attacks adds up to a feeling of a small window and randomness.

Well that was fun.
Esepcially level 30.

Not true. If you play it right you won't get hit once, and will finish with 100% health. All three stalkers will open fire at the tank at the same time, so if you just lift it up in time and drop it down in time it doesn't matter what your tank shoots on - you don't have to ever get hit if you're good enough.
|
how do you beat 29? impossible
|
I thought it was a good challenge but the infestor splash level was retarded. That is not micro it's just boring trial and error until you die of boredom.

I did it with 7 infested terrans and fungaled. Not that this is some mathematically superior method but worked for me.
Tbh I only had any real trouble with 30 and did that by just trying again and again. About 75% of the levels are pretty self explanatory and can be done first go (e.g. zealot choke, or the kill marines with storm one, or the banshee kiting one)

Yeah but who's THAT good? If you time it even a tenth of a second wrong the stalkers start firing at different times and you can't dodge all the shots with the medivac AND the tank.
|
cannot do 30 im either too fast for the medivac to respond or my australian ping is too shit
i load and press d click mv and it wont drop the tank, eats the volley.. and its just downhill gg
|
I'd also like to blame my horrible ping for the land down under.. but really I just don't get the quick way to hit the drop, I was using d lick on medevac, then click on tank to pick up. Its like there needs to be an unload all button... OH WAIT! retrying
Nope, I;m imagining things now
|
Hitting hold position on the medevac helps a bit as it then doesn't run away and mess up everything on 30.. The hold position trick for the banshee kiting one was an ace hint by the way whoever said that.
