Then again, I remember being able to beat the campaign my first time around by giving myself a dozen or so carriers through the editor; is there a way to significantly lower the difficulty (or has it already been put in?). Anyways, I really appreciate all the time and effort gone into this mod. It's my favorite mod/custom! All the campaigns have a Normal/Hard option as far as I've seen (except tutorial levels). The Protoss one has like 5 difficulty options for whatever reason. I can't speak for the Hard modes but the Normal modes weren't that painful. I wouldn't say they were easy mode but they were quite doable.

In the final level of the Episode 5, To Chain the Beast, one of the objectives is to kill the three Cerebrates to weaken the Overmind's defenses. Last time I commented on this, I noted that the respective color Zerg do not become passive upon the Cerebrate's death in the same way as in Brood War. It was noted that this was an intentional change, as it made little sense to the creators that the zerg would simply stand around while being shot, and this much I don't mind. However, it was also said that while the zerg do continue to defend themselves, the AI does cease all action. This, I am noticing, is not true. They do continue to gather resources and continue to make units. In particular, I noticed this in the form of air units to throw against my attacking Battlecruisers. Is it intentional that they continue creating units like this? As it stands now, a cease in attacks against your base (and the loss of their "special power" appears to be the only effect of the Cerebrate's death. Just wanting to clarify *how* much of their continued activity is intentional, and how much they are actually supposed to stop doing.

Protoss mission 4, brought Jimmy and Tassadar to the beacon but it didn't end. - You need to walk them in to the beacon from the north (shrug) Some suggestions: In the theater briefing, I'd like to see at the start of the text it say the persons name, it's hard to tell the difference between Daggoth and Zasz for example so it should say "Zasz: Agreed" "Daggoth: Absoloutely" something like that EDIT: - The text would be fine doing a pop up the way it does in the 3'rd chapter - the solution done there in the breifing room is perfect. At the end of each mission where a movie would normally be put <in game movie zerg 2 "the hive"> or something like that - prompting people to know when to go hit up youtube ![]() I'd like the 3'rd person mission to really be optional ![]() EDIT: Thank you regardless though, I finished 2 of the campaigns here and for the most part it was pretty seamless. I'm also impressed Blizzard hasn't lost their beans over including the SC1 assets - the voices really, really made up a lot of this. It pretty much felt close enough to SC1 for me. Devs: Any thoughts on suggestions, to summarize In ALL SIX CAMPAIGNS: when a movie should / would be played put up <See video 3.2 Zerg "The Hive" on youtube> so we know to pause and ALT-Tab to the net When a character is speaking in the briefing room, add the characters names, in Zerg campaigns it's hard to know who is who Otherwise, awesome work - about to re-finish 5 and try 6.

Has anyone collated all of these? I just finished #5 yesterday and I'd love to watch the cinematics but it's difficult to find them on youtube with all the other videos now. Anyone know what precise links there are to which missions ? EDIT: or is there only one video for each campaign in the expansion?

EDIT: I think I realized my problem. I'm not gaining any minerals from my terran base. My scvs will mine the minerals but I will gain none. I haven't seen anyone else point out this bug..it seems strange that no one would point out something like this. Is there something I'm missing?

The AI just sends wave after wave of mutalisks, ultralisks and hydralisks at you and I can barely hold them off. Even when holding them off, I certainly can't attack or expand, because I have no resources to defend any expansion or build an army, and eventually I just run out of resources and lose. I'm building SCVs and Probes constantly until my base is saturated, too. I can abuse the dark templar to help defend the protoss base but that still doesn't help against the air units...anyone have any advice for this? I might just have to move down to Very Hard... I haven't seen anyone else point out this bug..it seems strange that no one would point out something like this. Is there something I'm missing? Pre-patch 2.0 the terran resources were available to you they just didn't show up in the counters. Try only using the terrans to gather minerals and see if you can't continue building once you run out of resources in the counter. The Fall uses an older mod which wasn't updated yet so there might be a legit bug. As for the strat I only played it on normal but I found that the protoss start in a bad position (they did in the original game as well). I move most of my forces and start a new protoss base in the upper right near the vespene sites and just sacrifice my starting base. It's easier to get a defense up if you dominate the top part of the map. I did notice near instant muta and defiler respawns when I went in for the final attack on the Overmind with my carrier fleet. It's pretty cheap but I think it's intentional.

It doesn't matter Thorvath. I ran into the same issue that Josealtron ran into. My protoss base ran out of minerals and i couldn't repair the bunkers at my terran base (my mineral count was 0 but the terran was mining completely) I knew the terran had minerals because i could make marines/scvs. AND i was getting some of his money because i could build carriers. However i could not build a nexus or any other buildings. EDIT: I havn't tried your run to the north and build there. But i'm playing it on brutal as well ![]() and Josealtron, what i was doing is i went marine medic and made a line of 5 bunkers along the bottom. and used Repair with like 6ish scvs. I used raynor to yamato the ultras as much as i could to get them out of the way and if push comes to shove all of my scvs underneath raynor and mass repairing him vs the entire enemy army :D. and as for the protoss base i used 6ish cannons on both sides to tank since the dts clean up the bottom easily since they don't bring overlords while teching to carriers which deal with the mutas alright :D

Major Issue Zerg static defense buildings do not appear as options for drones to construct. Wasn't a big deal for me in the relatively easy original missions, but BW is much more difficult. I tried to fix it on my own in the editor, but after a few attempts I got frustrated and gave up! Minor Issues SC The Fall general, some of the difficulty options would not load a mission. Sorry I didn't keep track of which ones did not work. SC The Fall Mission 9 Shadow Hunters, game locked up when cerebrates were killed, had to ctrl alt delete SC BW general, Valkeries seem to do poor damage, its been many years since I played BW but I recall them really tearing up air units! As noted above, I also had the problem with missing graphics for a few Zerg units and resource sharing problems on the last mission of The Fall.

I'm also having a an issue with the last mission of the 3rd campaign (Protoss 1) where the briefing just skips through very quickly.
