I really like your maps and mod overall, so I've decided to create logo for you It's a compromise between StarCraft: Broodwar greeny logo and StarCraft 2 logo, also with some bloom and lighting effects like on Starter Edition logo

I'm getting constant waves of wraiths, tanks and marines. If I push with cloaked wraiths & kerrigan I get scan sweeped instantly. If I do with thanks and goliaths there's a ton of tanks, marines and goliaths on permanent patrol which decimate my forces in no time.
2.- The Big Push: more or less same story. I can't do proper micro when there's wave after wave of wraiths, tanks, goliaths and marines sieging my base over and over, also they come in BIG numbers... So I thought of doing an air strike with wraiths and science vessel but there's like 6 bunkers, two detecting towers and whatnot awaiting you just a bunch of yards away.
Are you still having trouble on the easier difficulty setting? If the easier setting isn't available, try downloading a more recent version of the mod.

Yep, downloaded everything yesterday. I've started to play this last night and I'm really having a blast with it except for the aforementioned. My difficulty was Kerrigan until I choked with these missions, switched to Raynor after the second slaughter and yet...

So, as you can see, I'm not a pro at all (I've beaten original SC1 + BW a couple times as well as WoL on Normal and Hard) but I think I can defend myself, haha. Does anyone have any suggestions to walk through these missions? Also, is the game so taxing from these points all around? The game is difficult because it was felt that awesome story implies challenging levels =) If that's any comfort, you are not the first to struggle at the difficulty spike. My advice would be to build a line of bunkers/turrets once you have cleared an area. That way, even if your attack gets blocked, you have a line to retreat to - if you get pushed all the way back to your base, you are in trouble. Gets lots of tanks, put them on high ground whenever you can. A useful trick is to unsiege half your siege tanks before moving them forward, with the other half still in siege mode. So, if the enemy unexpectedly attacks you, you will have a few tank blasts to cover the rest of your army. In mission 7, your best opening is to fast expan: send Kerrigan to destroy the siege tank immediately, put 3-4 of your own tanks and turrets on the top of the cliff, and continue from there. In mission 8, try nukes! The enemy shouldn't rebuild much of its defense if you lowered the difficulty. Good luck!

Wow, thanks for the support guys!
I'll try what you proposed there, although I'm somewhat afraid to try it out again. I tend to only use mouse control and number groups, I'm so bad with hotkeys... anyway, cheers!

Consider switching to the "grid" layout if you haven't already gotten used to the classic hotkeys. It'll make your life even easier in the long run. You can change it under "options," though you'll maybe need to download a slightly different version of the SC1BW mod file.
When you factor in the interface convenience improvements, I think the Easier setting is pretty comparable to the difficulty of the original game.

Yeah, for map 7, I like a healthy mix of tanks, marines and Wraiths, myself. Tanks being most important. There's a number of tricks you can try, such as pulling enemy Wraiths into your marines/Missile Turrets, using Kerrigan's Lockdown on enemy tanks whenever you can, and if you're able to afford a Science Vessel or two, D-matrix on tanks that are closest to the enemy before/during a fight.
A good way to start with hotkeys is to pick two or three to learn at a time.

Just tested this in game - beautiful, thanks very much! It might be a while before the Launcher is updated, but this'll be in it for sure.

Just like Jones said, though I actually didn't use too many Wraiths. I had a crowd of tanks approaching along the bottom route, a marine/medic ball, and Kerrigan, who's beefy enough to lure the marines and tanks into mine, where Siege Mode would blast them before they could counter-Siege, then get her healed and send her again to lure out more of the shmucks.
The throng of marines/tanks surprised me too, so I took steps to (Gradually) get rid of it so I could move in.

Sick mod, <3 !!
Quick question: Which one is harder, insane or veteran??
Edit: I'm playing Episode III, and dragoon attack produce no sound, is that a known issue?

So, it seems like HotS kills your guys' Lurkers in Eps 1-3 from a story perspective. It straight up says that the Queen of Blades designed the Lurker during the Brood Wars.
Of course that doesn't mean you have to change anything.

Thanks for your tactics, guys. Tomorrow I'll try them, it's a shame to not try to advance.
Yes, I hate the new layout. So dumb... switched instantly to the good ole grid Having a blast with these improved campaigns!
BTW, I've promoted this very mod on another forum, hope you don't mind.

It might be nice if there was a way to skip the intro scenes, ala the official SC2 campaigns. They're very nice-looking and do a good job of showing off the level of detail, but they can become a little superfluous by the 3rd time the maps are played.

Agreed. First time is very nice, subsequent times can be a lil bit tiresome to watch it again and again (while repeating the same mission over because you get your ass handed in a golden plate)

Yeah, I remember thinking similar things when I made my first attempts at Terran07. I wasn't in the project back then, and only the hardest difficulty existed ^^ I will get a look at that when we update the maps to HotS, until then you can just save right as the level beings.

Another bug I'm having:
Episode III, some enemy lings look like some "Electrode" (the pokemon) balls O.o
And again, the lack of the dragoon attack sound is really annoying u.u

Will you be adding custom achievements?

better upgrade the campaigns XD

To anyone who knows -- what kind of assets from HotS in particular can we look forward to being integrated?
Also, I wonder if there are any plans to add the semi-canon N64 mission, now that you-know-who has made a main-canon appearance.
