No, not in any forseeable future. While I realise how awesome that would be, it would take a huge amount of work to make something good enough, and that time is better spent on improving the maps themselves.

I think that version might be slightly deprecated. 4.7b is the most recent version of the mod file.

This remake was fanominal! Enjoyed every campaign to include the extra quotes/cut scenes, the moded FPS missions, and of course the nostalgia :D Thx MavercK, jones313 and everyone else who developed this.

Is it possible to donate to this team?

I've played through the first two campaigns so far, and having a blast! One issue I'm having, however, is with the download of campaign 5. Whenever I try to unzip the file, I get an error. I've been able to download the other campaigns fine, but not this one. If anyone has any idea why this might be, I'd very much appreciate it.

@Mastavida1 -- Keep trying. I also had that problem, and some occasional problems with downloading Campaign 3, too. I'm not sure what the deal is, but it should work eventually.

This was amazing.

So I had kind of played the campaign when I was a kid, but all I did was cheat through the missions and ignore the story. Recently I tried getting back into it to do the campaign but it just felt too dated for me. I was waiting for the Warcraft 3 mod of the campaign, and then I found this.

Took me about 2 months, playing on the easiest difficulty since I'm terrible at RTS, but that was an amazing, epic experience, going through the campaign for the first time and seeing the really awesome story and difficult missions. You guys did an amazing job, props to you. I can definitely say your remake got me much more interested in Starcraft. Now onto the Starcraft 2 campaign haha

Amazing campaigns, just played through the first, but I have a question in my head: is there an estimated date of releasing 'The Fall' with SC1BW mod support? Or even better an approximate time it will take (days-weeks-months)? Thank you in advance and once again, you made an amazing remake!

Edit: Just asking because if it's close by, I might want to wait for it. Also, if you plan on making Enslavers, Enslavers II, Stukov Series, will you think about the Insurrection and Retribution campaigns as well? I know they are not exactly canonical, but they fit in well between EP1/EP2 (Insurrection) and EP2/EP3 (Retribution and Enslavers) and EP5/EP6 (Enslavers II) and EP6/WOL (Stukov Series).

Edit2: Forgot about Loomings (Precursor) which fits in right before EP1.

Edit3: Adding the Terran takeout campaign parts (the original T07 and T10, later known as the filling between T07/T08 and T08/T09) would be a pretty nice improvement.

They've already said that there are no plans to do the semi-canon content, even given Stukov's reintroduction.

Come to think of it, I had thought an earlier version of this project actually did include the "missing" Terran missions? Maybe they were just made into standalone SC2 custom maps?

Glad you enjoyed it. Don't feel too terrible about the difficulty, even the easier setting is not exactly "easy" in the modern gaming sense.

About the semi-canon content, yeah. Though I will say that that's not a definite "no". But all the extra semi-canon content is, quite frankly, way too much.

The hidden Terran missions were never included - not in our version, anyway.

Impossible to say. Depends on what you mean by near future - say, within a month? Highly unlikely. Approximate time is "months".

First of all, thank you very much for the answers. This is exactly what I wanted to know.
Stukov Series, Enslavers, Enslavers II, Retribution, Insurrection, Loomings, Terran 'missing' campaign maps. Those are all of the semi-canon, 'approved by Blizzard' and currently available plot-driver campaigns/maps, aren't they?

Starcraft is 15 years old today! We didn't plan anything special for this, but I can say that we have just started working on the HotS update, and that it might include some extra, exclusive content when it is eventually released.

Note that Blizzard has a special event for this occasion: if you play a single ladder or versus AI game during the next few days, you will receive the three portraits from the original Starcraft game box!

Place it to StarCraft II: Arcade.

We can't, we are limited to 20 maps per account and there are more than 60 files to be put online.

You are exaggerating, things went pretty smoothly once we shot the people who wanted to use the medivac portrait for the dropship (seriously, a blonde for a dark haired woman?!). We are all reasonnable reasonnable grown-ups.
