Perma NP was good, but Clone is even better! You thought canon rushing was bad, now just need to do a normal build with and just warp in a pylon. Phoenix's, blink stalker and storm wasn't good enough to counter mutas, have some tempest. Mining, bah! You don't need that 2 oracles can disable 4 spores and 4 mineral patches.
But hey, at least I can pull a colossus off a cliff.

Also great design like mechwarrior.
I hope you're trolling because in my opinion it is an horrible design. It's really ugly even surpassing the transformed hellion.
I hope that Blizzard can come up with better concepts before the HoTS Beta otherwise they are only going to ruin WoL.

I dunno. On the ladder, in lower leagues, this kind of madness might have some merit. Mules... repairing stalkers and such, being able to clone AND create terran units for harassment or EMPs. It's not going to have a place in serious play I don't think, but for people who want to try some neat shit, the opportunity should be there.

Dude I'm so excited for the oracles ability to tell me what a building is building! DUDE WHAT IS THAT BARRACKS BUILDING?! oh marines.... WHATS THE STARPORT WITH A TECH LAB BUILDING?!! oh a banshee... MAYBE I CAN FINALLY STOP LOSING TO SECRET MEDVAC ENERGY TIMING PUSHES! oh and i can finally know if terrans are getting building armor to fake getting +1!!

I like swarmy ideas, but that also gives the potential to be just ridiculously cost effective if these things are tanking for you.

Well looks like I'm leaving toss to go back to terran. Taking away our mama ships and carriers to give us an anti-muta capital ship? I got 99 problems but mutas ain't one of them. I mean I have storm, archons, blink stalkers and phoenix, do I need a tempest?
When I said I wanted a harassment unit I meant something that actually killed workers, like a banshee or mutas, not something that locked the mineral line down for a few seconds.
And still no fix on the fact that ghosts outrange templars and any competent terran can emp a protoss army before they do anything, and all they had to do to make carriers viable is lower the build time a little, they were already very good just took way to long to make.
Oh and great, they are buffing mech play, so now spectators can enjoy watching the most dull and boring build in the game utilized in all three match ups, wonderful.

1 gate robo into scv replication into CC expand.
Mules + scv repair for the world's most insane 2 base immortal/zealot/marine all in.

Yeah they are very strong, but it doesnt look nice, would be better if the swarm turtle could spawn more but lees stronger units
Supposedly (and I don't know that this is true, just what I heard), they spawn at an ever increasing rate the longer they are burrowed, until they are spawning like 5 at a time.

It feels like this expansion is way more zerg friendly than toss friendly, although those stinking terrans are still too good. Look on the bright side though zerggy buddies! No more Thor anti-air splash, so muta harass just got better :D. The warhounds don't do splash and are anti-armored units. The warhound's anti-air was designed specifically to be anti-mass muta.
Shredders also will hit mutas.

I said that in an earlier post. It looks like someone tried to make a mechwarrior in his garage out of car parts. Shit is awful looking.

I'm curious, do you people really think stealing an SCV to make CCs will be viable in a real 1v1 game?

Personally, I think it'll be pretty similar to how it is now. Colossus still seems like the best bet late game.

Jesus Christ. And I thought baneling drops were bad. Wow This thing kinda Looks Way overpowered. You'll have time to run your workers away, but I'm picturing someone dropping a couple out of view, and having one go to each mineral line entrance and stop them from running away, like sentry drops. Come to think of it, that'd be AWESOME for the replicator! Replicate a shredder, and drop it with some sentries :D. Can't be any worse than high templar in a warp prism lol You can run from storm drops, it takes 4 storms to kill a whole mineral line with no reaction at all, since the workers don't sit in it automatically, and if they pull their workers they can get away with no losses or just a few if they're careful. This would be devastating though, NO RUNNING AWAY. I'm pretty sure they said the shredder takes like 8 seconds to burrow

Problem is that it would lag out all the 4v4 players, and I bet as a demographic the casuals who just play 4v4 outnumber, or at least rival in numbers, those who enjoy competitive sc2.

No, they're single target I believe, and they don't do much anti air dps.

Does anyone know if the replicant can copy a mule (and not explode after the timer runs out?) Otherwise, copying an SCV may be cost efficient in the long run as you can stack up on energy for mules. Also, if you were to do it that way, would the mules bring back the minerals to the CC or the Nexus?

Zerg already has a unit that causes permaforcefield that attacks.
