Yeah, these were my initial thoughts, but I thought about it some more, and it is useful in some cases. If I see a lair researching for example, I'd want to know if he's getting burrow or ovie drops. If I see a roach warren researching, it'd be nice to know if he's getting tunneling claws or speed before it's done. It's also useful on tech labs on barracks to see if it's combat shields first or stim first.

Actually you are on to something. At high levels terran likes to fake banshee cloak when they go for mass drops or 111 with raven. Toss will be able to scout it. And protoss can also see if terran is getting stim or combat shields, and its timing, all of which are very important.

Soudns like with the Tempest PvT mech just got a lot more impossible?

Perma NP was good, but Clone is even better! You thought canon rushing was bad, now just need to do a normal build with and just warp in a pylon. Phoenix's, blink stalker and storm wasn't good enough to counter mutas, have some tempest. Mining, bah! You don't need that 2 oracles can disable 4 spores and 4 mineral patches.
But hey, at least I can pull a colossus off a cliff.

Any idea on the delay between pulses? 1 game second, 0.72 seconds real time. 20 damage per pulse, no idea of upgrade effect So Terran get a Cloaked Psi-Storm Defense Against Harass?
It doesn't work if a friendly unit is within the attack radius. This means you can't put one in the mineral line and keep all your workers safe. I would personally prefer if it did do friendly fire damage. So that Terran can't just spam these things but instead be careful about where they are putting them.

I gave in and bought the panel stream...so.. Random things Im typing while watching the stream.
They note that these things can be changed.
~so the replicant can copy any unit you have vision, and you automatically get the upgrades, according to david kim. ~ viper is a seige breaker. ~brood host spawns 4 locust that has 90 hp and 16 dmg. ~oracle can disable buildings, such as spores, and spines, as well as phase out tech structure. ~oracle is pretty fast. (looks as fast as a muta IMO) ~Reapers can regenerate health. ~Hive tech burrow move for banelings. ~Hive speed upgrade for hydras. ~Dustin said he thinks that the replicant will be op because it will force terran to not build seige tanks/ghost/bcs ~David said they are trying to not make the viper so expensive so that detection is impossible, or too high up in the tech tree but not too cheap so that the pull ability can be abused. ~Apparently, they do read the forums. ~They said they were going to watch the mules in case they ever get imba. ~as of right now, that psudo cannon for toss requires gateway.
More info as soon as i get them.

But hey, at least I can pull a colossus off a cliff. You're actually Kinda Right Surprised this Expansion wasn't named Legacy of the Void Are you joking? It feels like this expansion is way more zerg friendly than toss friendly, although those stinking terrans are still too good. Look on the bright side though zerggy buddies! No more Thor anti-air splash, so muta harass just got better :D. The warhounds don't do splash and are anti-armored units. I heard the warhounds do more splash than Thors, am I wrong?
Yeah, you are mistaken, or whoever told you that lied. They do either no splash or very low splash. It's basically the goliath from Brood War.

So from the trailer it looks like there are reverse destructible debris now? Now Justin Browder can put even MORE rocks on the multiplayer maps, that is just what the player base has been demanding!

By getting an SCV you can then repair all your blink stalkers/immortals/voidrays/colossus.. To me this seems BY FAR the best use as its the only way to get back the health on these expensive units so EMP doesn't make your 10 hp Colossus die from 1 marauder shell. :O Or build CC's instead of nexi, get mules, and scvs to repair your army. Hi, exploit, nice to meet you XD Or just choose Terran before the game starts if you want to use Terran units. I dunno. On the ladder, in lower leagues, this kind of madness might have some merit. Mules... repairing stalkers and such, being able to clone AND create terran units for harassment or EMPs. It's not going to have a place in serious play I don't think, but for people who want to try some neat shit, the opportunity should be there.
Indeed. I love all of this out-of-hand theory-crafting. It's very similair to "Protoss is so OP in SC:BW because DARK ARCHONS can take any unit they like". We all know Dark Archons mind-control was always used in serious competition and the Dark Archon had to be in melee range as well!

Mules + scv repair for the world's most insane immortal/zealot/marine all in. I'm going to practice this. You sir, have a deal. What would terran do? They have no chance if you get the expand up.

I would like to know what they said about the 1-1-1 and EMP though since I saw a tweet from kennigit about it but missed it myself.

So much misinformation.
First 1 sec siege time on shredders, then 8 sec. Large AoE on Warhounds, now next to none.

Nah, I don't think it'll be any better vs. mech than carriers were. I don't think the tempest has any effect here really, and with the warhound and hellion transformer, mech just got WAY more viable in TvP.

Wait...if I clone a ghost and EMP the Terrans Ghosts before they EMP my army, then my Protoss army can fight the Terran army with full shields.....it would be like an insta-win....

...do people realise the shredder has the exact same dps as storm?
In a radius of at least 7?
wat.

Personally, I think it'll be pretty similar to how it is now. Colossus still seems like the best bet late game. Save up 100 energy, build 4 pylons next to opponent, make all of them cannons that destroy enemy nexus
That's my vision, hopefully it will become true

You get hydra speed, burrow-move banelings, lurkers (how do you know it's gimped? It shoots 2 16 damage 0.875 attack speed broodlings, that seems pretty decent), defilers, ultras that no longer block unit pathing with burrow charge, and a new corruptor ability. Do you want an auto-win button?
