Personally, I think it'll be pretty similar to how it is now. Colossus still seems like the best bet late game.

Save up 100 energy, build 4 pylons next to opponent, make all of them cannons that destroy enemy nexus

That's my vision, hopefully it will become true



the problem with the arc shields in pvp is that think about a 3 pylon block off...

but you dont need a cannon and just make the pylons :/


Also, Joshy said that it only brought a single SCV to like 5 hp. I mean, I am sure this will get buffed but by how much? And you are wasting energy you could be using on chronoboost =P

Sorry to burst that bubble, but it's like a 20-second long Photon Cannon that only damages Light units. It's for helping against early game rushes (Lings, Marines, Zealots, Reapers) and mid-game harassment (hellions, banshees, etc.), and you need a Gateway to use it, so it won't help a Cannon rush much, if at all.

If I see a roach warren researching, it'd be nice to know if he's getting tunneling claws or speed before it's done. Are you really going to build a unit so you can see if they are getting combat shields or stim first though? Like the burrow/drop is the only thing i could think of that would be slightly useful but still extremely situational. Like I'm not ever going to use that... like what am I honstly doing to prepare for the choice of combat shield over stim.

Yea, but a little aggression can tell you if they have burrow, and speed is a HUGE give away for drops.. I really don't see any point of this. The unit itself is pretty pointless imo.. just get rid of it.

Mass recall on the nexus sounds pretty damn awesome, I assume its going to be implemented something like simply costing 100/150/200 energy to use (instead of chronoboost). But I'll miss the mothership, having mass recall AND the base cloaked means it isn't going to die at all.

Replicant sounds........ interesting. Either stupidly OP or stupidly useless. Mules obviously come to mind but toss need more gas than minerals.. stalkers in bunkers? SENTRIES?!?!?!?!? Replicate a raven, put down 2 pdds to protect colossus from vikings?

So they make the detection come so late that the pull can't be abused but do they remember that even with overseers Zerg usually STILL struggles to get detection in time for banshees...

Arc Shield has a duration. If you put 3 up on those 3 pylons, the other guy just moves away for the duration.

p.s., currently lasts 20 seconds

Yeah i'm wondering if they thought about 1 base cloaked banshee then 2 base DT or something. It almost forces rushed lair because you can't just morph an overlord anymore as soon as you hit lair.

not happy with zergs continued de-evolution with detection.

Ultralisks get this ability like zealot charge, except it's probably manual cast. They burrow, rush forward, and pop up and start attacking. You can see it in the new trailer. The new corruptor ability siphons health away from enemy buildings and gives you money. Not terribly great, but you can always use more money.
