People might be missing the point on the Oracle. Sure it might not kill workers, but it does make things like zealot drops more effective because the biggest problem with zealot drops/storm drops is that you can just run your workers away and take little damage. This locks them in place.

It don't affect worker, it make bubbles on minerals so they can't be mined.

The more I think about it, the less I like protoss changes =(.
The Tempest is basically a very expensive BW Corsair with a mediocre ground attack.
The Replicator is more expensive than almost all of units it can actually replicate. Seems very gimmicky to say the least.
The Oracle is also weird. The scouting it gives you is not much more than what you would get from an observer. Entombing minerals sounds weak. The only useful ability is Phase Shift on Missile Turrets / Spores in combination with Phoenixes that can actually kill workers.

I'm more excited about the new Nexus abilities than the units. :/

Wow so the viper can only do the detection once? It seems zerg just devolves every expansion in terms of detecting.

Overlord in bw, now it was the overseer which an overlord morphs into now its a viper that can only give 1 unit then you have to make a whole new viper to get detection.

DT's i'm having nightmares .

Wait. So, not only do we now have a purpose for macro Nexuses, but possibly Protoss could be more the macro race than Zerg, even. Put a Nexus everywhere and can defend as long as it has energy to recall units to defend. Not only does this give you lots of energy, unlimited gas potential, but it prevents your opponent from expanding there, obviously.

I think with creative usage, Protoss so much more potential. They certainly made it the tech-y race.

Let's see:

6 pool - Shut down with buildings that fight back.
Cloaked Banshees - Countered 'en mass' by replicators. Terrans need to think twice about showing a Protoss a cloaked banshee.

Some of these are cool, some are meh, and the rest are just pants on head retarded. I can't help but think that balance is going to be more messed up in HotS than it ever was in WoL. A lot of these units are just lame. The Swarm Host is basically blizzard going "we want to introduce lurkers, but we don't want to appear lazy, so lets make a dumb version of it!" Just give us back lurkers blizzard, no one will criticize you for your lack of creativity more than the player complain about zerglings still being in the game. I can say that without a doubt if HotS launches as is, I'm race switching from protoss to zerg.

Oracle
Description: The Oracle is a psionic warship, built from a Stargate, that uses several unique abilities to raid and harass the enemy. The first is Entomb, which can temporarily block mineral fields from being harvested. Another ability, Preordain, grants vision of a targeted enemy building, allowing the protoss to see which units or technologies are being researched. Rounding out its kit is Phase Shift, which phases a target building, preventing it from being attacked, using its abilities, or granting technology. Not only can structures like missile turrets be prevented from attacking, but using this ability on a zerg Spire would block the production of Mutalisks, Corruptors, and air upgrades.
