As it is now Hellion allow T to be aggressive but on the defensive gets eaten up by storm and especially Colossi. My guess is, when a Hellion transforms it becomes an armoured unit which will 'tank' for the relativly weak Tanks along with having traditional splash damage. Ofc they won't be as effective because they now lack the ability to "line 'em up" but will act as an effective buffer for the Tanks. Brings more decision making into the game, between aggressive and defensive. This pleases me because it shows that Bilzz are aware of the relative weakness of Mech compared to Bio in TvP and are attempting to change that without effecting the other matchups

Yeah that's because the majority of people have an acute lack of imagination :p Honestly it doesn't have to be wheels. Could be something purely cosmetic. A basket of ammo or a bowling ball or something.

If you really don't see that, that honestly gives a good deal of explanation to all the retards who saw that picture of a street light and thought it was a UFO. When you could see the light post.

What I mean is: 1) Minor [design] changes to some units would be enough to change the relationship between the units 2) New mechanics could be enough to do the same 3) I have no reason to believe that 1-2 new unit for EACH race is different Probably we´re having 1, 2 and 3 for HotS, just like in TFT. HotS is supposed to be ALMOST as different from WoL as BW and TFT were different from Vanillas. So everybody chill. Its nothing like "Terrans will have an extra way to OP". The game may change completely. Terrans could even get underpowered (or under "complete") next to Z and P. But I MAY be wrong. I think Bowder have shown to be more worried about design flaws than imbalance, which is favorable for major changes; in the other hand, there is the e-sport scene, so they can´t be too adventurous and make all the viewers think "the game is unrecognizable ! the top player we know are not winning anymore!"; so yes, maybe they dont do a "TFT makeover" at all, ... EDIT: contrast adjustments suggest that those are tires for real

- A desperate Zerg It looks like a hellion transformer, which fits with Terran's versatile style, I mean, they can change tech labs, reactors, make vikings ground units, siege mode for tanks... sounds just right to transform hellions as well.

The CONTRAST and VARIETY of speed and offense/defense within the same battle is what made it exciting. Mech doesn't need another slow beefy tank, they just need to buff the tank that already exists. If anything the hellions should be faster to highten the contrast.

Like instead of casting "vortex" or a nuke... it could cast like an endless hole in the ground for several seconds that would make any opposing units fall through into their grave deaths! Only thing is that when zerg casts this spell, every other zerg ground unit would freeze as they are channeling energy into creating the hole. Also, it would only be limted to cast on creep only. Now that would be cool!

[Also, the thing over his head is almost surely a flamethrower, but hardly a healer-thingy. We also totally have one shield, but two? IDK]

I would like to add to my previous list of reasons it's not tires, that the "tire" on his leg doesn't match the "tires" on his shoulders.

tires. no. page 71. I would like to add to my previous list of reasons it's not tires, that the "tire" on his leg doesn't match the "tires" on his shoulders. Excellent point. But all my eyes see are TIRES! Tires or no tires, I think the image confirms the flamethrower and at least one shiled. Better than nothing.

The people swearing its this or that and making huge accusations are absolutely retarded and are either doing it for 1.To argue about something or 2. Because they are stupid. Why someone would feel so strongly about whether its one thing or another when all we have is a shaded image want to talk about imbalance and switching races or w/e is beyond me. I for one am pretty excited to see what all races get and how strategies may change or be made. I can't wait until HOTS its going to be a huge hit for everyone.
