Testmap 1 + Show Spoiler + Testmap 2 + Show Spoiler + Testmap 3 + Show Spoiler + Testmap 4 + Show Spoiler + For comparison numbers: Tal'darim Altar LE + Show Spoiler + Metalopolis (close only) + Show Spoiler + Slag Pits (close only) + Show Spoiler + Used SC2 Map Analyzer. Looking at the numbers in general, bases have spread out quite a bit by ground. Even the "rush" map gives quite a bit of leeway for the defender to respond. Meanwhile, cross spawns aren't nearly as far away as TDA. It's a fairly tame map update, tbqh. | ||

Honestly don't think so, if anything it looks alot closer than the horizontal positions since you can shortcut through the back of the natural expansions. The picture of it in this thread isn't what I played yesterday. It wasn't rocks but a cliff with a back and front door, the back doors were basically where the rocks were but only nearest the gold base. If you can spawn vertical positions its literally steppes of war distance. | ||

Lol i saw that too. Switch to terran time? ![]() These maps just look small to me, Ill wait to play them before I judge, but Im not so hopeful. | ||

I think I just vomited, perhaps the most imbalanced spawn locations ever? 33% that your third can siege your opponent, making a medivac drop actually unstoppable. Having said that, if Blizzard get punished for this and pro players stop streaming ladder matches due to it being useless, then it may be a blessing in disguise. If top Korean pros cannot ladder, and must resort to illegal ladders or custom game ladders, then it will give Blizzard the wake up call they need. Unless, of course, they honestly don't care about us. | ||
