Why do you think Dustin Browder goes around with a terran t-shirt? :D It's gonna be interesting to test these out on the ladder when they finally are put on the map pool, it seems like going mostly air builds now for protoss or any race is highly suggested, given the fact that almost all maps got so small air distances. | ||

Sc2 ladder has been nothing but a disappointment for me so far, I had a much better time laddering in wc3, even though the matchmaking system is so much better in sc2. I hope my skill won't drop too much by the time the expansion is released, but then again, that might be a blessing in disguise. Stuck in master league and unwilling to practice hard enough to actually get into GM, it's just too much work, I hope I drop to platinum skill level so I have a goal when laddering again ![]() I hope they fix these maps for you active people, for now, I'll stick to watching replays/streams. | ||

While the system itself is really good (i think so at least), the mappool is atrocious. Every tournament that wants to be taken serious isn't using Blizzard maps, so it's incredible tough to practice them really thouroughly. I would be so incredible annoyed. On top of it, the GSL produces many maps, yet Blizzard thinks they have to create their own shitty stuff. Their approach is mindboggling. | ||

(not all the time obv but it's not impossible or anything). their mentality towards maps is mindboggling | ||
