Team Corrik FTW
Main Team 1 Creator 1 HuK 8 MarineKing (captain) 9 MMA 4 Squirtle 3 SuperNoVa 2 Taeja 2 ViOlet 6 SlayerS
Anti Team 7 aLive 3 Twilight 3 Younghwa
Alive will play a lot, but I expect him to lose a lot also.
I had to drop Alicia for creator to stay under the cap.
MMA + MKP set up was too much sexiness for me to pass up. Huk is a wildcard... winning DH might give him the opportunity to come out in GTSL.

He had issues winning against qxc (not a pushover, by all means, but really, if you want to be considered the best Zerg in the world, you'd better be able to roll over someone like qxc), and from what little I saw of his match against oGsHero, his ZvP looks rather shaky. Not to mention, the way he trades his army is inefficient, and he seems to fall apart late-game. His early- to mid-game play is really fucking scary though, I'll give you that.

Is it bad to pick a combination of team ace+other players on same team?
At first I thought it was a good idea, but I'm not too sure now...I see many people taking MMA and half of the SlayerS lineup, same with MC and oGs, what's the idea behind that?

NesTea has proven himself, while DonRaeGu has not won much. Yeah he performed very well in the last GSTL and he won the LG tournament but NesTea has won 2 GSLs. Plus, DRG failed to quality for next season's Code A if I recall correctly.

I don't think either of us in a position where we can call what is efficient and inefficient in StarCraft 2. I believe it requires an extremely deep understanding of the game that very few people besides the real pro's have.
I do understand your arguments, but we've also seen NesTea have problems with other lesser good players. MC has also been in trouble a few times, etc. etc. I don't think it has much to say to be honest.

changed to follows
Expert Prediction
Main Team 2 Ace 5 Alicia 1 Aya 9 Bomber 1 HuK 1 IMHappy (captain) 8 NesTea 1 Tiger 8 Incredible Miracle
Anti Team 3 Choya 5 Lyn 5 Moon
Reasoning: alicia is a good player and definitely will get me 2 points for being present and beating noblesse If tiger loses, bomber would be sent in since FXO does not have ST July. If Happy loses, the same thing may happen: Nestea would be sent in.
Team Incredible Miracle is the best? Hmmm not sure sponsored by Coke is a plus, but the players make me very worried...by happy's performance we'll see where this team is going... betting on it because it is highest rated and team quality is vastly more important than to bet on a single player who might not even play...prolly not a good reason lol anyways first week IM will 4-0 fOu.
Huk, Aya, and Ace are just solid and 1 pters...so might be good for trading i plan on trading low pointers anyways lol
Anti-team: Must trade away F.United Lyn and Moon by August 4rth lol

Yes, I can see where you're getting at but I'm not saying that DongRaeGu has achieved the same things that NesTea has in any way. Also I'm not arguing he's the best Zerg since retail or anything, nor do I think fx. Jinro was. In my humble oppinion, I just think he's the best as of today's date.

Can't decide between Happy and Yonghwa for my cheap IM dude. =(
Happy is apparently a hot player right now but I've never seen him play and I hate picking blind. Yonghwa is a resident Protoss sniper I know he's quite a capable player, but he also costs 2 points more.

Well i dont really understand how this works and what i have to think of.
So i just did a brief 10 Minutes "think about it" and this is what came out:
Team Scerr
Main Team 5 Alicia 2 BoxeR 1 Galaxy 1 IMHappy 5 Killer 8 MarineKing 9 MC (captain) 1 Tiger 4 Prime
Anti Team 4 GuMiho 5 Lyn 4 Min
Is this in any way reasonable or am i missing something COMPLETELY (dont want to have a best team, or something just wanna know if i made MAJOR faults)
f.e. is it better to go with a stronger team and weaker players?

Also currently my favorite korean player. 6 Ryung - Swapped him in over MC. Extremely dominant in the GSTL, so he felt like an easy pick to me. 5 July (Ace) - Well I needed a zerg and he was the best for his value that wasn't one of the 8 pointers. 4 ThorZaIN - Foreigner pride fighting. 4 NaNiwa - Same as Thorzain and even more solid and consistent. 3 Keen - A steal at 3 points considering how well he has been playing. 3 Seed - Usually takes one game off the opposing team. 1 HuK - Worth the one point and doesn't really hurt me if oGs doesn't decide to play him. 5 Old GenerationS - I can still capitalize on MC and a bonus of Nada and TOP. Anti Team5 San - Not very impressive to me. Though I'm sure he'll see more play than the bottom two. 4 Maka - I don't like him, he gives off the feeling of Polt lite and I don't think IM will play him. 4 FruitDealer - Hasn't been very impressive in a while and I don't think TSL will play him.
Edit: Made a couple of swaps.

I picked DRG over Nestea because i see him playing more. IM has seemed to kinda save Nestea until they really need him to clutch a victory or two, and DRG seems to get sent out more often and racks up more wins.

I'm having a really hard time picking a +5 or +6 point anti team member. I'm between Guineapig Trickster, Zenio, Lyn, and Moon, but not sure where to go. Here's my rundown: Guineapig is a very dangerous pick, he's wildly clutch in teamleague, but I feel like he's the least skilled of the five. Trickster will get played almost every series, and he'll likely take a game now and then, but he seems like a safe pick for 6 points Zenio is the best among the group and a vZ sniper, but he's on a deep team which may often win before he gets played. Potentially rewarding, but dangerous. Lyn is one of the stronger players, but is on a slump. He could be an anti-team landmine. Moon seems like a safe anti-team pick at 5 points.
And according to the scoring (+1 point for a streak break), it seems like it's winners league format, but everyone here is saying it's proleague format. Can anyone find a link saying which format it is?

YongHwa has atleast proven he can get you points in the GSTL... but Happy and Hero are so damn hyped and Hero beat DRG to get into code A.

These are not final for me. I just wanted so I wouldn't forget to do it. Need to look at them closer tommorrow.
+ Show Spoiler +KnivesMain Team5 AliciaGood solid player for 5 points that have a good record in past GSTL's and is also playing first for SLR's in the starting GSTL 8 DongRaeGuHis stats in GSTL are great and he seems to be MVP's key player that is used every week. Doesn't go first but usually finished the series for MVP. 4 GuMihoFou player with a good record and being best Fou has with Leenock I feel he will be used a lot. 1 HeroGreat choice for 1 point. Beat DRG in code A qualifiers and qualified for code A himself. Have been used by oGs in previous seasons. 1 IMHappy (captain) Qualified for code A and IM coach said he is their best up&coming player so for 1 point I feel he will do me proud. He is my captain because he is still kinda a wild card. I see him doing ok but I probably can't/won't be able to change him even if he wasn't the captain. Also IM players all weeks so he will be useful. 3 KeenAnother great MVP player that will be used. Great choice for 3 points and has a lot of skill. Code S player. 6 RyungNot 100% sure about this but great TvT sniper and korea has a lot of Terrans. Good record in previous GSTL's. 2 TaejaAlso not 100% sure. He is mostly known from all-killing Zenex but that's Zenex for you. Still a good player. 6 SlayerSI feel they will win it again or at least do very well. Anti Team3 Anypro4 HongUn6 TricksterNot sure about these yet either. I like Tester but his record isn't that great for a 6 point player.
Any hints for my future changes? I feel I need to change something. I'm kinda too SLR focused for my liking. Need other teams too.

I think you should place higher value on players going out in the middle of the match and capable of getting streaks instead of aces capable shutting them down in the end.

Personally I would avoid taking him on the anti-team. As part of WMF he will appear every single week (probably) and is on the rise right now (having beaten July and Bomber in recent competitions).

+ Show Spoiler +Manner pylonMain Team5 Alicia (captain) Proved himself to be a stable, good player. Originally had MMA to be captain but changed in case his form drops so I can trade him. 8 DongRaeGuA player who has proven to be incredibly strong and an ace for MVP. Unless his form drops, should bring the points in reliably. 1 SocceRWith the small roster that F.United have I can see him getting a good amount of games and winning at least some as he is a solid player with a good Warcraft 3 background. 1 HuKComing off his recent Dreamhack win, I can see HuK getting games, even if only to snipe zergs. If he does play it's a great deal for only 1 point. 1 IMHappyProbably the steal of the lot, with the hype by the coach I can see him getting games and his ladder position is nothing to scoff at. Really do see this guy being a big name in the future. 3 KeenKeen is someone you can't help but love. A solid player who loves his ceremonies, this was a sure pick. 9 MMAThe giant of GSTL who, unless he loses form which I can't see happening, will most likely dominate once more and be a sure point bringer. If he does start playing bad I can always trade him. 2 PuzzleThe player formerly known as zer0 once scored 2 all-kills against oGs and IM. He seems to be coming on form once again and if he can repeat the past will easily be worth the measly 2 points. 6 SlayerSThe two times champions and the once underdogs are pretty much a sure bet. With an extremely solid line up and the backing of Cella and Boxer I can't see these guys going anywhere but the finals and hopefully title number 3. Anti Team5 LynOn F.United who don't play until week 6, so got plenty of time to decide to trade or to keep. 4 NaNiwaSame as above 4 FruitDealerHas never recovered his form and I can't see him doing it anytime time soon. If he does even though I'll lose points I'll be happy if Fruitdealer manages to bounce back, he was one of my favourite players.
Overall I'm pretty happy about my main team, it was the anti team I had issues with. Hopefully my lesser picks can play well and my more high valued picks can keep on form.

Here's mine finalized:
Expert Prediction
Main Team 2 Ace 5 Alicia 1 Aya 9 Bomber 1 HuK 1 IMHappy (captain) 8 NesTea 1 Tiger 8 Incredible Miracle
Anti Team 4 GuMiho 5 Moon 4 ThorZaIN
Reasoning: alicia is a good player and definitely will get me 2 points for being present and beating noblesse If tiger loses, bomber would be sent in since FXO does not have ST July. If Happy loses, the same thing may happen: Nestea would be sent in.

I might switch team to F.United when they start getting active.
Huk, Aya, and Ace are just solid and 1 pters...so might be good for trading i plan on trading low pointers anyways lol
Anti-team: Must trade away F.United ThorZain and Moon by August 4rth. GuMiHo is the worst in fOu; although choya sings in the booth, GuMiHo fares even worse as a random player and will never see a game. I really want Rainbow on my anti-team lol if he was worth 4 points instead of three. TSL's Trickster is also way overrated at 6 points. However, they may have a comeback, and I don't like playing with chance.
Anti-team reasoning continued: trading into FXO safe on weeks 6,7,8,9,10 (they don't play those weeks) startale safe 6,7,8 zenex safe 7,9,10 fou safe 7,8,10 ns hoseo safe at week 9,10
anti-team switch from F.United to FXO costs -2 anti-team switch from F.United to Startale to NS Hoseo costs -4 costs if stay with F.United? terrible terrible damage lol there are 5 players in F.United, even if they lose they all get played XD -2 default or more per week for me.

2-Game Streak Break: +1 Point** 3-Game Streak Break: +2 Points**
An Ace shutting someone down scores more points than the person on the win streak to begin with.
Example
Player A goes on a 2 game win streak and then loses to the opponents Ace, he scores: 2x2 points for winning + 1 point for appearing - 1 point for losing = 4 points
Ace player that shut him down scores: 2x1 point for winning + 1 point for appearing + 2 points for breaking the streak = 5 points
If it is a 3 game win streak it is 6 and 5 respectively... but either way breaking winstreaks is rewarded nearly as much as going on them.
