If you know anything about BW scene, that should be a enough reason. Shouldn't you try to choose a 4-pointer instead of aLive? You're well over 13 points, and since he's sure to be played you might wanna switch him out for someone who isn't. But concerning the anti-teams, don't we get points when they lose? As it looks now, it will be a lot more practical to put people who are unlikely to play on your anti-team, instead of choosing popular players you think will lose (and gain points when they do so).
Agree with this having Alive in anti-team is a very questionable choice. Hes playing EXTREMELY good right now (won recent korean weekly tournament in dominating fashion) and has a good gstl record. Ive actually got him in my main team despite being 7 points because hes guarenteed to play more for TSL than anyone else

So Liquid guys are allowed to play in GSTL now? (Huk/Jinro)

Main Team 5 Alicia (Captain) - Consistent and Strong Protoss that can beat the top players. Also currently my favorite korean player. 9 MC (Ace) - Nothing can be said that isn't already known. 5 July - Well I needed a zerg and he was the best for his value that wasn't one of the 8 pointers. 4 Thorzain - Foreigner pride fighting. 4 Naniwa - Same as Thorzain and even more solid and consistent. 3 Keen - A steal at 3 points considering how well he has been playing. 3 Seed - Usually takes one game off the opposing team. 1 HuK - Worth the one point and doesn't really hurt me if oGs doesn't decide to play him.
Anti Team 5 San - Not very impressive to me. Though I'm sure he'll see more play than the bottom two. 4 Maka - I don't like him, he gives off the feeling of Polt lite and I don't think IM will play him. 4 Fruitdealer - Hasn't been very impressive in a while and I don't think TSL will play him.

Team Solid
Main Team 2 Ace Ace is a top-tier player and has been performing. For 2 points, this is a good investment. 9 Bomber In my eyes Bomber is top 5 world. 1 Cezanne I've been really impressed by Cezanne's play in last GSL. 1 Creator Creator is an up and comer. For 1 point it's a no brainer. 1 HuK With Huk's Dreamhack win, I think it will give him a lot of confidence. Plus, I think he is getting used to the pressure and is coping well with it. He will do well. 1 Jinro After the rain, there can only be sun. 9 MC (captain) MC is the most consistent and solid yer in my eyes, hence why I chose him as captain. 4 NaNiwa For 4 points, it's quite a gamble, since we don't know how he'll do in Korea, but I have faith. 8 Incredible Miracle I decided to not pick any IM players, this way I can still take credit for any of their wins by having them as my team Leaves room for the great players of other teams.
Anti Team 5 GuineaPig I think this player sucks. It's all there is to it. 6 Leenock I don't think Leenock will ever get better. I don't think he is going to win a game in fact. 2 Qxc QXC is inactive and won't do good in Korea.

MKP <3
Main Team 1 Hero OGS seemed to open with this guy a lot in the previous GSTL's. Combined with the fact that he has a lot of hype and was only 1 point, I think he'll be +EV
1 HuK Hot off of Dreamhack and a pretty solid when he doesn't get nervous, he looks like another good value
5 July Needed a Zerg for my team, and it was either July or Min. I eventually settled on July as he has more results and should see a bit of play from ST.
3 Keen A big up and comer imo. Out of MVP, he seems to be one of the better players. I think it'll be him and DRG carrying the team so he'll see a lot of play. Seemed like a steal at 3 points.
8 MarineKing (captain) Favorite player, was a lock pick. It's impossible not to cheer for this guy.
7 sC Out of the more expensive players, think sC is not getting enough love. Obviously an amazing player, but I don't think fOU has a lot of players who can support him. So even as an ace player, I think he'll be put into a lot of games and net at least a couple of points.
2 TheStC I looked at this guy's stats, and they're pretty spectacular for 2 points. Don't know too much about this guy, but he was another value pick.
3 Twilight Like most other people, I don't have a lot of faith in FXO. That being said, I think he's the team's best player and will see a lot of matches as he inevitably has to carry his team. Although I have to note, I've worked this out based purely off the fact that he has two accounts in Top 25 GM league.
6 SlayerS 2-Time winners, and since I didn't have enough points for Ganzi, MMA, Alicia, etc. I wanted to have them get me points through this category.
Anti Team 6 Leenock 4 Maka 3 RainBOw
All the above have not shown any results lately, and seem to lose in clutch situations.
This is my first fantasy draft, sports and esports included, so if anyone has any comments, I'm open to criticism. Thanks!

I spent about 3 hours creating my team. Still not sure if it's any good.
For the anti team, I figured only two things are really important.
1) How frequently they would feature for their team 2) How early their team will get eliminated in the tournament.
If a team gets eliminated, the number of points they can take off you is greatly reduced.
I think LeenocK is the best case for the anti team out of everyone. He's in FOU so they could be eliminated early, and he's also only got a 25% win rate in the team league. Also being a 6 with those stats, that's nearly half of your anti team covered Throw another high grade player in there, and you can select a player from the 1 menu who will probably never get a game

+ Show Spoiler +Jimbizzles FantizzlesMain Team5 Alicia (captain) I can see Alicia becoming somewhat of a force to be reckoned with, hence captain and my first pick 3 Anypro Always performs well in GSL and is amongst primes top players and probably their terran stomper. 4 Clide Clide <3 4 Genius Genius hasn't been doing well of late so I can see this as his chance to prove himself, so I chose him. 5 Killer The sexy protoss that loves a challenge, he always performs really well. was rather cheap for 5 4 NaNiwa Naniwa, the solid protoss, will be a top pick for Fox. 4 ThorZaIN Same as Naniwa really. 2 ViOlet I think Violet is quite a bargain for 2 so I chose him 5 Old GenerationS oGs'Liquid FIGHTING~~~ Anti Team6 Ryung Do me proud Ryung, do me proud. 5 San Not sure the main reason for the San pick, hoping he won't perform I guess 2 Taeja I've never heard of Taeja, so I presume ignorance is bliss.

"After Rain left TSL, we had to remove him from the database as well. He was worth 11 points."
Argh too bad, i had a spot ready for him on my team!

holynorth wins
Main Team 5 Alicia - Most people seem to have him as well. Seems to be a very strong protoss and definitely worth the 5 points. 1 HuK - Only 1 point. Probably won't play but with his recent results, I'm confident if they do play him. 9 MMA (captain) - I used to see this guy as a joke. Then he started tearing people apart. Hopefully he can continue his streak. 4 NaNiwa - You'll see that I went heavy on FXO, simply because a few of them are for sure going to play (Naniwa, Thorzain) and should be able to win a game or two. 1 OpTiKzErO See Naniwa. This is was my least confident FXO pick. He fit in to my 1 point pick which is why I chose him mostly. 3 Seed I still remember him from GSTL season 1. Couldn't resist picking him. Should easily take a game or two. 3 Sheth See Naniwa, I also needed a Zerg. I kind of regret this choice. 4 ThorZaIN My most confident FXO pick, see Naniwa. 6 SlayerS - They've won two GSTL's. With IM in now, it may be hard, but I'm still confident with them.
Anti Team 4 Byun I don't see him playing. I also think he's overrated. 4 Curious Don't see him playing. 5 Lyn Don't see him playing.
I've never really been too good at Fantasy leagues, so my picks are more than likely poor. I went with a heavy focus on FXO as I have a weird expectation out of them in that they may win the first round and my picks are for sure going to play so I should get some decent points. My entire Anti-Team is players that I don't expect to play.

Yeah, I think the heavy decision in the anti-team is between tester and leenock. Tester has just very simply not performed in ANY league, and Leenock hasn't had outstanding performance either. TSL is only a 9 player team full of "let downs" (clide, FD, tester, killer) imo, and fOu has sC, GuMiho and choya who are all apparently ELO ahead of leenock - yet valued lower. Too bad they don't have much in the way of Zerg players or we wouldn't have to wory about leenock.
I think Ryung (aka the third -6) is maybe a consideration for this point too, competing with ganzi, Taeja and of course MMA for terran playtime. quick look at records, and Ganzi does well against Z/ avg against P, taeja against P/avg against T, and MMA rolls over T and Z, while being avg against P. Ryung's record is not excellent in any of the matchups. He's certainly not a better pick than leenock or tester imo, but still wouldn't be the worst choice you could make.
I've just changed the 3 pointer in my anti team from choya, who ought to play a good bit because fOu is anything but deep, over to supernova... I mean, the guy is a good player himself, and I could see him getting wins... but oGs just has SO MANY TERRANS. theStC, hyperdub, ensnare, top, and oh, someone named nada, the most consistent player of all time. I just can't see him playing, and at first I even wanted him on my regular team =(

Team Trainwreck
Main Team 2 Ace Ace doesn't do well in individual leagues, at all, but he's always proven he's great in the Team Leagues. For 2 points, an easy pick. 7 aLive He's TSL's only good player. 8 DongRaeGu (captain) He carries MVP on his back, and will surely pick up a lot of wins. 1 IMHappy Plays first for IM, just qualified for Code A, and I have faith he'll win at least 1-2 games the first week. 9 MMA He's MMA 1 SocceR So, I know FOX doesn't play until Week 6, but in between now and then is the entire GSL Season, and in that time, who knows what SocceR will do to make himself NOT only 1 point. He just qualified for Code A, and I doubt he'll go out in the first round (he's really, really good), so by the time Week 6 comes around, he's definitely not going to be 1 point anymore, and he definitely will pick up some wins in the Team League. So I'm getting him while he's cheap :p 1 Tiger Plays first for ST versus the weakest Team. He's bound to get some kills, and I can always trade him away later. 3 Twilight Best Player on FXO probably, so a team's Ace for only 3 points? Hell yea. 4 MVP I only had 4 points left, and MVP is a better pick than Prime. I originally had SlayerS, but cut them for better players. MVP for 4 points is kind of a steal.
Anti Team 5 Lyn Doesn't play for a long time, will just trade him away before then. 5 Moon Same as above. 4 ThorZaIN Same as above.
It's kind of cheating though :p

Other than for sentimental reasons, I don't see Boxer being a good choice for your team. He has to compete against MMA, Ganzi, Taeja, and Ryung for play time.

BlacktionsGracktion
Main Team 5 Alicia (captain) Good all round, sick PvP, slayers should do well so should appear a lot. Made Alicia captain because i wanted to be able to trade MMA (higher value) if slayers manage to drop out/do poorly. 5 GanZi Pretty sick all round terran. 1 Hero Absolute steal for 1 point. 1 HuK 1 point for a code S player? Yes please! Worried he wont get and playtime, but its still only 1 point. 5 July Who doesnt love July? His ZvZ is a bit messy, but otherwise a great all rounder. The team needed a zerg too. 9 MMA His GSTL history is all the reason i need. 2 Taeja 2 points, if he gets an all-kill like in last GSTL (he might face some weaker teams in this one too) Taeja will bring in massive profit. 2 TheStC Someone showed his sick statistics earlier in the thread, seems like a bargin for 2 points. 6 SlayerS Whats can i say? Slayers have been killing for the last 2 GSTLs and MMA has shown sick individual results. My teams pretty Slayers dependant, so if Slayers do badly im fucked anyway, might as well back the team.
Anti Team 4 FruitDealer Not looked up to anything since GSL1, hes pretty much guaranteed to be on the bench, but he probably wont see playtime, and if he does, he will probably lose. 6 Leenock fOu's GSTL history is pretty dire tbh. Hopefully they wont get into the playoffs. 4 ThorZaIN F.United dont play for a while, so that will keep my neg score down. I can always trade later, but tbh im not sure how much the foreign players can do against the top koreans individually. And as a mixed team against tightly planned teams who've trained together for months for hours a day, and planned specific counter team strats, i cant see F. United progressing.

My entire Anti-Team is players that I don't expect to play. Umm, ThorZain and Naniwa are not on FXO, might want to fix your team seeing as they are just expensive dead weight until Week 6. I don't why so many people are picking HuK as well. He's 1 point for a reason. Why else would a Code S person, who actually got past the first round in the Super Tournament be only 1 point? Because there is almost no way I see him being played. I'm sorry Huk >.<. But there's just much better (not in terms of skill but actually being played) 1 and 2 pointers out there.
Also, Leenock and Guineapig are bad ideas for anti-teams. Guineapig owned it up in the last GSTL, and Leenock got a win or two. You should pick players that WILL NOT WIN EVER, if that means not playing at all, sure. You get the same points for having your anti play and lose than if they don't play at all. Which I think should be changed to losing being worse, but w/e
That way people who just pick players who will never player ever no matter what will be safe, but can get beaten point wise by people who smartly pick losing players who actually play.
