Look at the vertical spawning positions. In PvZ and TvZ zerg will have a very hard time fending off strong two-base timing attacks. It will be just like it is on shakuras right now. Have people really not played this map enough to realize that? There's nothing zerg can do to defend their natural in those positions.

Shakuras favored some races a lot more than others. Protoss/Zerg had a pretty hard time when connected via the back rocks vs Terran. Similiary, Zerg had issues with Protoss with the same deal, it also meant that Voidray/Colossus could get a free third base which is pretty huge since it is difficult to take a third base with that build until its very late into the game

Just from the pictures, I like the new map choices. I think the player feedback about the Blizzard one, Typhon Peaks, was generally positive as well. Nope, Xel'Naga Caverns is still there.

Just noticed the change in the OP. Seems a bit strange that they would announce the sponsor then retract it later.

Xel'Naga Fortress !!! Yay for an endorsed 3P map making the cut! Dual sight also looks pretty big and juicy ![]() If GSTL2 lives up to the hype that GSTL1 left behind it will be a ridiculous event! Go go go oGs and IM :O

Other explanation is that KT got killed by Kespa assassins.

So KT wants to advertise on both bw and sc2 scenes good for them, but sposoring a GSL isn't the same has sponsoring a team, since there is not risk involved in the former and it's limited in time. I think they're just testing the water, but considering how well KT Rolster goes, i don't think they will close it anytime soon.
