any since it's test realm you maybe won't ever see that... wtf? how can you make viable discussion? and why is every race whining about nerfs and ignoring buffs? ie zerg can't be contained with pylon-cannon that easily (pylon - forge - 3pylon - cannon = too big of an investment so early on) but whine about FG not hiting phoenixes any more? Most of you didn't even use FG in first place... and as for collos phoenix combo... corruptors counter them both... In case someone can prove they don't it's rather easy to buff corruptors have some faith in blizzard ffs | ||

Also banshee+vikings to kill any overseers!? also the hotkey change...yeah like it wasn't APM intensive enough...I see an army coming and I want to make lings but by the time I clicked Z 23 times I see the defeat screen -_- Ultralisk is a very small buff. It used to do damge from the center of enemy units...they nerfed it to the ground and made it from the center of the ultra...now its in front of it...a very minor change that I doubt I will even notice. | ||

Fixed an issue where Larva could produce units by holding down hotkeys HATE!!! NERDRAGE!!! OMFG!!! I am disgusted by this change. Reminds of the patch in beta when blizz removed wireframe casting. Its retarded to try and balance a game through the interface instead of the game mechanics. Also it is very painful to have core mechanics changed and having to relearn patterns that have to be automatized 100% to be successful at a high level. This kind of automatization takes a TON of games, so basically means any good Z player will takes his sweet time until he is back at the level he is right now. The infestor change doesnt bother me at all compared to the crappy interface nerf. Why not remove hotkey for spawn larva while ur at it?? ![]() | ||

We get - chat channels - custom hotkeys - a public test server (there was a thread were a bunch of hateboys cried blood and tears because there is no public testserver - a shitload of bug fixes - a lot of really nice balance changes. (scv repair prioritiy, pylon wall in, ...) ... - and infestors that cant use fungal on air units anymore. While we dont even know how the fungal change will influence the balance, a lot of people go crazy about it and ignore everything else. I mean, 1.2.0 is a nice patch, take it easy. | ||

Time will tell PVZ- not sure what to make of this match-up. Currently I think it is fairly balanced as is which is why I am confused to why they are tinkering with it. I'm sure a lot of protoss players have been in the situation where they have 10 mutas fly into their base and they haven't got a stargate up and from that point on it is incredibly hard to keep up with production. Mutas are so powerful vs toss and very diverse in their usefulness and currently the muta-ling strategy does seem a little hard to stop. The issue is that phoenix are supposed to be the (sorry Day 9) hard counters to mutas. That is their main purpose in the game, and as it is you almost have to have your first few phoenix out before the mutas pop to really keep up with production. As for FG I saw gunea pig lose his whole phoenix army to 1 FG and have also seen vikings also similarly sniped. I think blizzard want to encourage corrupter (as anti air)/broodlord tech. Also when compared to EMP and Storm seems a lot more powerful, can't be dodged and you can't retreat. You must be platinum because no high lever player makes mutas vs toss if they want to win. The only reason they make a spire right now is to deal with a pack of pheonix (but not kill of course because there's no way to catch them lol) with corrupter or to deal with collosus with corrupter. Muta is so easily countered with sentry stalker (which every toss will be making all game anyway) muta is a guaranteed loss. Find me a top zerg beating a top toss with mass muta in the last 3 weeks and I'll apologize for assuming your ladder rank. User was warned for this post | ||
