Thanks for the screenshots! Hotkey interface looks awesome. Harvest count would be even nicer when we could select the units using it the way it was in warcraft III, but well, I barely care anway

Speaking of Warcraft III, Plunder Isle was a Ladder map in Warcraft III!

I'm curious what the Master league icon looks like. Did anyone promote that far with his PTR account yet?

Fungal Growth nerf alongside a Phoenix buff is gonna make PvZ extremely obnoxious to play (ie. spend all game chasing phoenixes with slow hydras)

Easy for Terran to say when your bread and butter unit shoots air while we have to tech to tier 2 to get out a slow clunky unit that is honestly not good against anything but air and toss gateway units (And gets raped by tanks and collosus and every other splash in the game). Making corruptors which are bonused against massive, to counter Phoenixes/Vikings/Void Rays just seems completely unlogical.

This. If you need to remax after a battle you will spend like 10-20 seconds bashing thesame button. Time in which you can't do anything else. And that just does not make sense to me. It does not cost the Terran and Protoss that much time because they will never be making 30-50 units at once.

Fixed an issue where Larva could produce units by holding down hotkeys.

Time to spam the hotkey and click the icon like a maniac building twice as fast! But I´m reallly afraid that i´ll slowly kill my Z button .(

LOL did you even play the game? Raven has hunter seeker missile, what's exactly made vs. huge balls of units. Not to mention terran has thor who is made to fight huge balls of mutas.


Well the change is for the PvZ balance. If P even tries for air dominance Z could just lol Fungal Growth and win, Protoss only option against Mutas are to few. The sad part is that ZvZ gets even more one dimensional...

The fungal change is not the best way to nerf zerg in some aspect.. = /. First off, the change was made so that u shouldn't be able to fungal growth void rays because their speed buff got removed. At least that's what i've heard, and if they do not want fungal to work on voids only then there should be something implemented to make voids immune to the debuff. Now as for the nerf as a whole its horrible.

ZvZ is now gonna be a muta fest, you can no longer have cost effective trades in air battles w/o losing a lot of mutas and the protoss air army combined with storm is going to be unbeatable.. Vikings with +1 also beat mutas with +1 (fun fact) so imagine that being a big thing in the near future. Honestly if you cannot fungal growth air then make psi storm not be able to hit air as well.. THEN i would understand the fungal growth change. As for corruptors.. well they are slow, they can only attack air and they make your ground army weaker. In short zergs AA is bad and their air is bad so why buff air for everyone else and leave zerg fucked, i mean at least a hydra speed buff off creep would be reasonable but ZERO changes at all for zergs AA that's insane.

When it comes down to it i think blizzard just wanted to make protoss have more options.. which is fine i like that but now look at the options you just limited zerg to, as if we already had a lot of options to choose from to begin with ahahaahaha.. I just want scourge ffs I'm tired of queens and spore being our only AA for the first 8 mins while we pray to god we dont see a double void ray or banshee push at our front (look at the game haypro played in the RO64 and tell me that's fun as zerg to always prepare for the worst then end up dying because u cant scout a terran). Seriouly though zerg is lacking diversity and other races are going to soon dominate zerg because they already know whats coming and the zerg really cant change his strategy for the most part besides do huge tech switches like leenockfou did against clide (which was an amazing game omfg).

All in all fungal was the only thing IMO that made exchanges cost effective in the air like vikings or phoenix battles with mutas w/o fungal against air mutas are was less cost effective and are going to be extinct in PvZ and terrans are soon going to be abusing +1 vikings. So now the zerg has zero map control which he needs and its just not cool at all, i dont see a zerg winning a PvZ at high level play if this patch get implemented live. Now protoss will have map dominance and complete control over the zerg while he struggles to do something unpredictable which wont happen because u know whats going on all the time, which means the protoss can just make the perfect army and win.

So now we have:

Bronze - Silver - Gold - Platinum - Diamond - Master ?

Why break the combo and go for a non-material name? Make it
"Uranium league" or "Aluminium league", although that wouldnt really make sense, but still.

Or maybe add a "Coal league" or something silly like that to the bottom and change the current Diamond league to Platinum or whatever.
If wishes were horses we'd be eating steak right now.

Just play a few games on PTR. Most players are like diamond in normal server :D. Chat channels are nice but not that "wow" experience I was expecting. Maybe it is not primetime on US soil so very little on PTR. I am gonna wait for a few hours before jumping back on it again.
The PTR version will reset every setting of your graphic as well as gameplay. So check your mouse scroll, keyboard scroll speed make sure you set it right before play.

I just don't like the changes at all zerg is not diverse and now zerg is going to be pinned to a wall the whole game and he wont really have any strong potential until the 15 min mark harassing a protoss is out of the window, this just sucks all around. Yeah zergs are crying because the race is gonna freaking suck compared to the other 2 its not cool zergs been through so much shit throughout sc2 from the start and this isnt helping at all
