well if I'm using it as i'm should, (meaning i need some saved up) i can bust out 2 phoenixes in 35 seconds. in 33 seconds you can hatch 8 mutas at once.

All the other races have to spam their button to get the units they want (I have to go aaaaaaaaaaadd to make my marines off 2 bases, way more late game, protoss has to individually warp in units), so why the hell should zerg have ezmode for macro late game (which is already really easy because you have exactly 1 unit producing structure)? Make all your units individually pl0x, just like everyone else. QFT. Being able to make 40 zerglings with 1 keystroke is just retarded I don't think this button thing is a big deal one way or the other. But it's one of those silly stealth-balance changes where they're like "Let's make our game shittier and harder to play instead of balancing things well". How does it make the game shittier if all you need to do is tap a button on your keyboard a few times? Pushing a button 5 times a second is nothing for a gamer.
Like I said, not a big deal but it's an intentional downgrade of the user interface and that's stupid.

I'm sure there are people out there who may even be forced to switch races just to avoid the damage to their bodies. 5 times a second? 40 banelings = 40 presses. That's a few seconds of button mashing which achieves nothing other than making the player look like they're having a siezure.

Most of these changes are Great but why is not Protoss late game addressed? I am really surprised that the High Templar Amulet is not nerfed, it would make TvP late game more even.
|
lol, ZvZ will be who makes more mutas now
|
"Harvesting units no longer avoid enemy units." damn that makes me sad. Probe harass is gonna be that much gimped by that and all the freaking newbies (sorry, but I gotta say it) who keep selecting all their workers to attack my harassing probe is now gonna win each and every time, cause I won't be able to slide the worker through. Pff! Retarded change.
- Otherwise, a lot of great changes, especially to the UI and functions of Battle Net! - Why they made fungal growth not effect air though is a mystery that's gonna remove a lot of pimp anti-medivac plays and make drops that much harder to deal with.

That fungal growth nerf saddens me. Medivac drops are going to be even stronger.

What happend to the ultralisk? Is it stronger now?

Fungal Growth
This is to my mind the absolutely biggest change - fungal doesnt see a ton of use as a staple part of current ZvT, but I have always thought the potential was there, and now its just not. This is basically saying "make mutalisks or die to drops", which just isnt right.
In addition, this is going to make broodlords SOOOO much worse - you will never catch defending vikings now unless you have, you guessed it, mass mutas.
Also, ZvZ is back to mutas. Lol.
Bunker build time
Seriously =[? Its nice on the defense, but on the attack, do you really want more allin?
Phoenix
..... The phoenix is ridiculously powerful already, are you fucking kidding me mang. Zerg and Terran users all over the world be crying. i agree about the rest but if phoenix is so powerful then why do i never see it used in pvt (and not even very much in pvz... more lately though.) just serious question Dunno why nobody uses stargate units outside Korea, but phoenix are ridic broken on scrap station already.

Why so terran can use Bioball from start to finish, buff their mech, nerf thier bio. Keep storm as it is.

Wow, the fungal growth change is huge.

I think Blizzard got this patch lay out way before recent GSL matches. Good thing is this is a PTR, which give time for Blizzard to change the patch before its actually live worldwide

Phoenix are the new mutas?

Nooooooo! What shall become of my zerg macro now? Also, why the infestor anti-air nerf? I've never heard any complaints about it. How to deal with phoenix/muta/medivac harass now?
Autocast repair will now charge the player requesting autocast functionality. I don't understand what this means. Does having an SCV on auto-repair constantly cost minerals, even if it isn't repairing?

Right, cus protoss have such an easy time on scrap station. They didnt get any better either, protoss simply have the option of a higher phx composition. They still cost the same, and do the same.

Actually you only get 2 Phoenix from 1 Stargate with full Chronoboost out in 46.66 seconds.
Chronoboost improves efficiency by 50%, it doesn't make things work 100% faster. So it only cuts times down by a third, not a half.

Obviously you understand how protosses work better than those players.
Oh and when was the last time we had a pro tournament level match where we saw phoenix absolutely rape the crap out of the enemy?
hm... back in the HDH when Nony first popularized it? Yeah.. phoenix OP my ass. Imo phoenixs were fine the way they were (as a 2k toss), this new buff is interesting but it may be important in the highest levels of play.

Jinro, the man in the RO8!!!!! Congrats!
On topic though, against Zerg it's not difficult for them to simply knock down your front door with roaches if you're too invested in Phoenixes. And if you want to actually harass with them, you need to invest in 4. I don't have experience with it vs Terran though.
