Ghost 150 minerals 150 gas Cloak Snipe EMP Nuke
Templar 50 minerals 150 gas Feedback Storm 2 morph into Archon
Infestor 100 minerals 150 gas Infested Terran Fungal Growth Neural Parasite GIANT TARGET OMG WTF FIVE TIMES LARGER THAN EITHER OF THE ABOVE. MIGHT AS WEAR A PLEASE KILL ME SIGN.
Infestors are the only caster that don't have a direct attacking function (besides crappy infested terran). No one uses Neural Parasite, and Fungal Growth got a nerf. People only use Infested Terran as an energy dump before dying, or at the very best, combined with FG to take down dropships and the like. Yes, sometimes you can throw IT's into a mineral line, but that almost never happens.
EDIT: changed cost
burrow move + infest terrans are pretty much awesome.

Morphing into an Archon is not a direct attack. It's about as indirect as it gets: the unit stops being a High Templar. Permanently.

Who cares if it "got a nerf?" What matters is the answer to this question: Is Fungal Growth effective?
It is no longer effective against air units, but it retains its utility vs. ground. And ground units, like Marines and Marauders, are still susceptible to FG.

grr why cant i log in? keeps saying i dont have the registered game? and i logged onto battle net site and no option there either.

You also have to devote a lot to templar tech, while infesters are on the way to unlocking hive. When have you ever seen archons actually do some damage? I'm not sure i know what the attack animation looks like.

Is that map really just 2 mains, 2 naturals, and 2 expos? Based on the architecture, it looks like zerg will never be able to have any more than 3 bases, which means late game (if it ever gets there on that map) will be 3 base zerg vs 3 base p/t, and obviously that's not a good situation for z...

Not sure how I feel about the no longer being able to bunker/pylon block the bottom of your opponents ramp. I felt these strats, however a bit cheesy were viable and useful.

i feel like if they're going to buff phoenix time and nerf fungals, they need to do more to prevent phoenix harrass.. like increase the energy required to graviton beam from 50 < 100 or more. Once a lot of phoenixes are made, 50 energy is like nothing to pick up tons of drones or army.

They've been doing it since the beta (Anyone remember the forge health decrease and build time increase?) and continue to this day with the change to blocking ramps and the depot before barracks change.

still can, just need 3 2x2 buildings instead of 2

making 30 baenlings before pressing e- takes approxi 1.5 sec after press e 30 times eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee takes approx 6~7 sec what if this difference builds up??? macro z gonna be so much hard to do
there have been lots of stupid patch but this is by far the stupiest fucking crap ever

There is no ramp or small choke point to the main on plunder isle. There is a backdoor destructable rocks to the main and the entrance to the main is 15 building blocks on the grid. So it takes three barracks and a bunker to wall off.
I sincerely doubt this map will used in the ladder ever.

Infestor Change is asinine. Absolutely asinine. Was it really so broken when FG hit air? I think not.
Now FG is weaker and NP is still a joke. I guess they think IT isn't simply a gimmick and is the be-all and end-all spell for Infestors?
Yeah, a bit of hyperbole from me there but come on... wtf are they thinking? It's like they're turning the game into moron-mode.

Fungal Growth
This is to my mind the absolutely biggest change - fungal doesnt see a ton of use as a staple part of current ZvT, but I have always thought the potential was there, and now its just not. This is basically saying "make mutalisks or die to drops", which just isnt right.
In addition, this is going to make broodlords SOOOO much worse - you will never catch defending vikings now unless you have, you guessed it, mass mutas.
Also, ZvZ is back to mutas. Lol.
Bunker build time
Seriously =[? Its nice on the defense, but on the attack, do you really want more allin?
Phoenix
..... The phoenix is ridiculously powerful already, are you fucking kidding me mang. Zerg and Terran users all over the world be crying.
i agree about the rest but if phoenix is so powerful then why do i never see it used in pvt (and not even very much in pvz... more lately though.)
just serious question
