That it? Seriously?

- No massive added to Archons
- No +2/upgrade (or SOMETHING) for Stalkers considering they're our only AA unit

I am disappointed Blizzard.

Fungal and Pheonix change is quite funky though.. perhaps opening Stargate will become more standard v Zerg now.

Also, I thought Stim and Psi Storm were getting changed..

zvz is gonna be a muta battle again, infestors hard countered them, so infestors are now useless in zvz. Also useless against mass phoenix and medivac drops.

Opening stargate is almost already standard unless you're going for a gateway all in as it's the only way to keep up with mutalisk production. I think we're more likely to see different openings that can be a bit more reactive with their stargate usage.

In case people don't realise how BAD Plunder Isle is, the travel distance from the main to either expansion is about 5 in game seconds longer than the travel distance in Desert Oasis. That and the map has only 2 expansions per side.

Not sure what the goal of fungal change is, but if it they just want to prevent one clutch fungal from being an auto-gg they should still keep it working vs dropships/warpprisms/overlords -- basically fungal air if it has no attack.

Changes seem great to me. I think the fungal change needs to be tested a bit before people actually start crying about it immediately. Plus this is just a test and it's not final. Think of it as a patch beta where we get to test the new patch before it goes into effect and then if Blizzard finds things they don't like they remove it before the patch goes into effect.

If it's really that big of a deal that fungal cant hit air units then I doubt blizzard will keep it. Same with some of these other changes. Patience is a virtue and a lot of people are being quite impatient right now. blizzard has done a great job so far with the balance of the game, let's have some faith alright?

Now looking more closely at it, I don't understand what they're doing to the Infestor. Not only do Zergs already have limited casters, they're making it even more worthless. I hate comparing across the three races, but let's just take a quick look at the main casters

GIANT TARGET OMG WTF FIVE TIMES LARGER THAN EITHER OF THE ABOVE. MIGHT AS WEAR A PLEASE KILL ME SIGN.

Infestors are the only caster that don't have a direct attacking function besides crappy infested terran (EDIT: I'm considering the Archon an attacking option for HT even though I clearly know it sacrifices the HT, the point is that HT have the option which is more than what I can say for the Infestor). No one uses Neural Parasite, and Fungal Growth got a nerf. People only use Infested Terran as an energy dump before dying, or at the very best, combined with FG to take down dropships and the like. Yes, sometimes you can throw IT's into a mineral line, but that almost never happens.
