Agreed, but the notion that a person who is paying for food has the right to act in disrespectful ways to people who happen to work there doesn't make sense. The people who work there has the 'right' to become aggravated if they are outright disrespected by a customer. Of course as far as I understand this was just a misunderstanding, in many places waiters will keep a humorous tone and recognize when people (like Day9) is doing the same, though for some reason this waiter obviously didn't.

As someone who has worked extensively in the food catering business that is simply NOT true. It's your job as a waiter / waitress to provide the most quality experience you can regardless of how the customer acts. No matter how big of an asshole they are , you put on a shit eating grin and you eat that shit right up, because that's your job. Some people (like the waiter in this story) are just bad at their job. Don't get me wrong, food service is possibly the most frustrating experience an employee will ever come across, but at no point does that give you the right to lose your composure, its just unprofessional.

Agreed, I have worked part time at a diner for almost 2 years now, first day of work my boss says to me "Always treat the customer with the utmost respect with the only exception of them assaulting you physically or running out the diner not paying their bills. You just have to swallow your pride and do your work.

Yeah I work partly in the service industry. I guess you are right to an extent. However, there are certain behavior which is not tolerated, and these things do vary greatly from location to location/workplace to workplace. For example, while working somewhere you're supposed to treat customers really well and cater to them etc., but if there are people there who's not going to to buy anything and are indisputably disrupting the actual customers, you "ask them to leave". I agree with you overall though, the waiter shouldn't have responded like that at all, especially considering how Day9 doesn't exactly ooze with harmful intentions. I still find the idea that people can treat others who work some place badly simply because they pay for the food to be stupid. But that is actually besides the topic, because Day9 obviously didn't treat the waiter badly, at least not intentionally...

Would like to hear more Husky in the future, not a fan of his casts but damn he was definitely one of the better guests so far. I was going in not really sure what to expect but yeah, this was definitely enjoyable.

I really cant believe reading through here the conversation about the waiter. lol it's simple, the waiter shouldn't have been a dick. It's not like day9 was being an asshole towards, honestly if I were the waiter I would've been laughing my ass off watching that. Take a hint from Tyler.....chill

Anyways more importantly the podcast was awesome and hilarious and makes me wish I had stayed around to get in as people filtered out, but oh well. I was really happy that Husky finally made it on, not that I'm a fan (if anything it was the opposite), but he really showed why he has a big following and why he's great for e-sports. I'm now looking forward to seeing more of him this year. I really hope people took notice of SC2 as its presence at Pax far outreached the amount of planning and attention given to it pre-event. EDIT: Also incontrol you baffle me. You lost 0-2 vs Naniwa in an unwinnable situation due to monumental lag THEN GO READ THE COMMENTS ON THE STREAM. WTF?!?!

I really like watching it live, but can never be bothered getting out of bed at 11am to see if a SotG might be happening.

I like Day as well but sometimes he is a bit too sugar coated for my likes. He's like listening to Mike & Mike in the morning. He has an opinion on absolutely nothing because he doesn't want to alienate anyone.
