The patch "pc-game-hdfiles\Versions\Base13891\msvcr80.dll" could not be applied. (CRC mismatch: expected 0x1891790f, actual 0x7eb3c1ee.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (BNUpdate: TCApply)
Blizzard Updater was unable to read the file "pc-battlenet-hdfiles\Support\Battle.net.dll". This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at <unknown>--for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the update. (The error code was 0.) : DecompressJob::Execute()
Anyone getting these repeated problems?

Yeah, once I clilck a button to find/create/join nothing happens. If I hover over the buttons, they all say "Not available while joining a lobby".

hey there, Iam actually too lazy to read everything but may I ask how many placementmatches u need to actually get placed in a ladder? Iam at -3 matches left now...
|
The colossal number of issues with the Beta at this point make me think that it was rushed out of the gate to take the heat off the whole RealID issue. I could be totally wrong but man, is it ever buggy.
To those with the pre-paid time error - you just have to sit and wait, unfortunately. Blizzard reps have acknowledged the issue and said they're working on it.

for me it says:
"-1 placements matches left" yea i went down to -2 and then i got placed It makes sense. Supposedly the 2 placement matches is a display error, so when you get to -2 you'll have played the proper 5. I'm at -5 now (7 games played) and still not ranked =(
Same, just finished a 7th placement match. Hmm... guess I'll keep playing.

At least you can play. I can't even log in because of the bleeding prepaid nonsense. :|
|
BNet dropped me on my last placement match, I was put in Gold for going 4-1, then BNet drops me on my second Gold league game. My internet connection is running perfectly fine, since I was on Skype the entire time with friends. =_=
Blizzard, how I hate you.

I didn't see this posted anywhere in the thread above - sorry if it has. I've been getting a weird graphics glitch, where lines/very acute triangles of light (when playing protoss it's a white-light colour, when playing terran it's an orange light) will cut across the screen for split seconds. It happens more as the game goes on and I get more units and especially when battles start. Initially it sort of looks like light reflecting off the units, but during battles it's like there is a disco ball in the middle of my screen and the light is reflecting off it. Mostly I can just play through it but in battles it gets too much.. and some of the triangles turn into black. The game doesn't lag at all, it runs fine - just this happens. I've tried tinkering with a few of the graphics settings but it still happens. It's especially visible as Terran.
Any ideas? :S Thanks

And it's not like it even shows the drop screen... In the middle of a game, suddenly you're just dropped.

Here is my issue

I mean I heard other people having this but had them get placed in -2. Currently Im on -8. This is stupid

The last two games I have played I got dropped from the game. It's not like a lag screen came up and I lagged out. It flat out said "Rattlehead surrenders. Rattlehead has left the game". It takes me right to the score screen. This is very frustrating. Looks like I'll be starting in copper league.
|
yeah i'm on like -6 placement matches too...
|
My last game took both me and my opponent 5-6 minutes to fully load. Is this common for other people?
|
Seems like the frameratecap command isn't working, while frameratecapglue is. Yay for flawless menus!

For those (like me) who still have the "you have used all your prepaid time", Blizz's latest response:
This is an issue that we are still working diligently to address. While we do not have an estimate for when the issue will be resolved, please know that our goal is get eligible players back into phase 2 of the StarCraft II beta as soon as possible.
