I'm VERY excited about the Infestor changes, primarily the range to Neural Parasite. 7 range made the Infestor really problematic to control with Roaches/Hydras in realistic game conditions. 9 range may keep it safe enough to actually get some unit steals pretty effectively. And don't worry, friends. you can still kill the unmoving channeling unit with only 80 hp after it steals your Immortal/Colossus/Thor and get it right back. The change to Immortal timing should combine to make early ZvP much more dynamic. No longer will literally every single match be Immortal Timing Push v FE Hydras. I'm really excited to see more gateway units, less reliance on the Immortal timing push. Should be much more fun, and I think Protoss players have been underestimating how good more gateway units can be against early game Zerg. I think people are also underestimating HSMs, even with the fix. Never had to deal with them in 1v1s, but I know they tend to rock my world in 2v2s. I fear the day Terran players start using them often in 1v1s. Removing two of the best 2v2 maps and keeping Twilight annoys me though. I can't stand that map... it's the ladder version of BGH. | ||

it feels like importing maps is pointless because it renders them poorly and doesn't let you change the texture set on them (it defaults to some nasty white/black sandy thing) | ||
