Protoss got a buff this patch if Terran and Zerg are nerfed. I don't consider the void ray changes a definitive buff or nerf.

Yup, Hydralisks that cost 100/50, need Lair tech, have 80HP and 12 damage are so worth it now... 
It's like they kept the Hydralisk from SC:BW and nerfed it completely.

And 50 minerals is hardly an increase at all

Overall I like the patch
ZvZ lings will be much better vs roaches allows for some variance instead of roach spam every game
ZvT able to throw more marines into the composition as they won't be as worthless vs Roaches
TvT Reaper rush just got a lot stronger since marauder won't be able to slow it in time
PvZ Zealots won't be completely helpless vs roaches every game

I think that protoss players have been hit with the nerf bat so much that they can't see a buff for what it is. They're like chronically abused spouses who can no longer discern an act of kindness from the back of a hand....

x2 attacks per second for dps:
prepatch/nonarmored: 4,8,16 prepatch/armored: 12,24,48 postpatch/nonarmored: 10,10,20 postpatch/armored: 10,10,50
x3 seconds in each phase before charging up fully
prepatch/nonarmored: 12+24=36 prepatch/armored: 36+72=108 postpatch/nonarmored: 30+30=60 postpatch/armored: 30+30=60

I hope they get around the addressing the Ultralisk issue now that it looks like Thor is more viable - each race needs a huge unit so Zerg doesn't feel inadequate.

I'm worried marauders will still dominate middle and late game. The upgrade will be researched and they'll still own....
I think zerg in particular will have problems against terran, with the hydra nerf especially. MMM will be difficult to stop.
They need to buff ultras and bring back lurkers.

Protoss stargate tech is now going to be even less accessible with increased cost, and nerfs on void rays, as if someone uses it now anyway (other than cheesy tactics)
