Fall/Winter 2025 Ladder Map Rotation
All the votes have been tallied, and now it's time to announce the official maps for the 2025 Fall/Winter ladder rotation.

We thank everyone for their participation in TLMC voting, and we look forward to bringing you good news about the future of TLMC going forward.


1v1 Map Pool
Nine new 1v1 maps will be added to the ladder map pool, as public voting and progamer voting favored a full rotation. The nine maps were decided through the TLMC public vote (3 maps), progamer vote (3 maps), and tournament organizer vote (3 maps).

What's interesting is how the pro player opinion differs from others. Is that because top 40 is mb toss heavy and these are the toss maps, or?
SC2 Archon needs "Terrible, terrible damage" as one of it's quotes.

I think they like the map pool, it's just that their vote was the complete opposite of the community vote. I think it's pretty easy to see what the vetos are going to be over the next few months.

I wish we'd kept 1 or 2 maps from the previous pool, but it looks rather solid. Can't wait to test them in game.

Feel like Taito got glossed over and is pretty underrated. Winter Madness is just a better Abyssal Reef.

White rabbit strains my eyes(when I get zerg mainly) and 10000ft is probably going to get old very fast.


Tried everything out except for Old Republic and Tourmalene so far. In general everything plays better than my initial expectations.


Not sure if anyone genuinely likes LoS blockers on maps but I could do with never seeing them again.
I may appear to be an emotionless sarcastic pos, but just like an onion when you pull off more and more layers you find the exact same thing everytime and you start crying

I've noticed on several of the new maps that it isn't immediately obvious which terrain is or is not buildable.

Only by attempting to build can you see where unbuildable areas are.

These areas can be traversed by units, so it doesn't make sense for them to be unbuildable.

This was also a problem in the last map pool.

Something for map makers to work on.

Visual clarity is very important.

This looks like a great map pool, I think it's much more balanced and enjoyable than the last one.

I would like to echo the sentiment of some players here.

1. (Opinion) Like wire, myself would like to see even a couple maps from the last pool.

2. As Agh says, white rabbit's lighting is very disruptive, it causes eye strain and accessibility issues for myself and some other players.

3. As MJG says, it's a little hard to tell which areas are buildable on a couple maps, particularly when walling off with protoss. Not a huge deal for me but could still be improved.

I'll add one myself-some of the bases such as the natural in tourmaline, the base marker is misaligned.

Not sure if it's possible to fix any of these, but figure I'd post nonetheless.

Ouch the lightning is hard on some of those ones (especially White Rabbit indeed, but I find Old Republic and Winter Madness very bright as well). I guess we'll get used to it but it's indeed a bit shiny and could use some toning down.

I want to add to this that many of the maps are not symmetrical when it comes to where buildings can/cannot be placed.

I enjoy the occasional Cannon rush, for which building placement is very important (obviously), and some of the maps are so poor in terms of symmetry that one spawn is favoured for Cannon rushing over the other.

I know this is a niche concern, but symmetry should be a given.
