True enough. They would probably have to remove the thor again or the amount of anit air mech would be too powerful.

i wonder whats the reaction when mech suddenly disappears from 90% of the games in the beta tho. the utter brokenness of the warhound was what made people go mech. not the "amazing"(in bizarro world) widow mine.

While it is a good first step, needs to be more done then just putting it back. Needs to be rebalanced in some way shape or form to make players be able to use it and be a somewhat worthwhile unit. At least the BC has a use while the carrier has none. Besides just being way ahead and making them to BM your opponent, and then still almost lose cause of how bad they are.

It would be cool if Blizzard let reapers be the ones to use the widow mines, gave a second or so for units to split before they died so people could mitigate some damage and that way be able to reduce the cost of the mine. That would make the reaper a very popular unit again

Im glad they took warhounds out. I enjoy the fact that Terran doesnt really heavily on 1A units.

Even with the warhound HoTS Terran had some of the least interesting new things added. I really hope Blizzard has something else for Terran as two tweaked units and the mine isn't really that interesting. Although the mine does look like fun.

EDIT: I'm NOT saying I want the warhound back, i'm just thinking that Zerg and Protoss has far more interesting new stuff added in HoTS.
Only thing I know is that I know nothing.

I wonder if the Carrier will even need a buff (although I think interceptors should be free). Oracle+Tempest+Carrier seems like a viable option for a 5-base army.

With Blizzard being less stubborn, maybe they'll just put the goliath back in, instead of the warhound.

I would give watching SC2 a try again if I could see goliaths vs carriers TvP.
