I liked what they said on ITG about changing the Warhound. I think their missle anti-mechanical attack should be casted rather than autocast and nerfed slightly. If this is done the Warhound might have a place.

Tempest are 6(!) supply and don't kill vikings very fast. If that really happens, it's a way worse supply sink for P than for T, so your ground force will just overwhelm his.
As it is, I don't see much reason to get Tempests in normal PvT comps, it might become standard in PvP (no more war of the worlds) and in PvZ (against brood lord comps). It looks like a very, very good change imo. I could see Tempest and Carriers both finding their place.

This is HUGE, Protoss was actually extremely underpowered and now it's absolutely great, especially the new Oracle spell, now PvZ is gonna be way more entertaining (srsly I was sick of the constant chain-fungal into win)

It is the first of what will probably be many big balance patches, if you want to play mech in TvP make sure that Blizzard know that, and if you have a HotS account play the hell out of it and work out what, if anything, is lacking in TvP and help them tweak it till it's viable.

And this guy thinks terran suuuucks !
Its beta guys, i can't believe people are actually balance whining to the degree where they're considering dropping the game.

Also i dont really get how everybody and their mothers cried about the warhound beeing a 1a unit.. so how much micro do you need for carriers?

Just wait a little. Apparently Blizzard isn't as ignorant as people thought. They will buff the mine a lot throughout the beta and I'm pretty sure they will bring either the Warhound with a complete redesign or another unit to complement mechplay.


Btw it was a collective QQ...even terrans and zergs took part, because the Warhound sucked so hard.
