This patch means Terran won't really change in any of the matchups.

Very nice design choice ... to rapidly rotate many drastic changes to find out which ones are clearly deserving to be taken out of the picture. Maybe 3 or 4 more iterations of the big stuff and then settle down into minor tweaks if all is discovered.

Terran needs at least a few new things if toss is going to get buffed so heavily, right now in WoL one of the many issues with TvP is that terran is so 2 dimensional where as toss can go colossus tech or HT or mix in DT's and terran really has no options yet they start giving toss way better units and now give them better abilities like stopping the effect of fungal. wth

Whoa, these changes are drastic! I like it though from a first glance. I'll have to check out some streams and see how this will mix things up. 1. I think the reaper changes are very interesting but might need to be tweaked a little. 2. Glad to see they are fundamentally rethinking Protoss. 3. I'm fine with the change to my little swarm hosts, I hope they tweak them some more though. They still seem a tad bit plain.

Sigh.... I also worry that adding a few tempests (15range ZZZZ) will make colossus even safer from vikings than they already are. The tempest can slowly pick away at the vikings until they force the engagement, and it's not like protoss needs MORE units to force TvP engagements... they already have such a sick advantage in that lategame.

protoss QQ paid off and now terran cant go mech vs toss (and also making mech vs zerg weaker) HOTS became alot less exicting for me :/

Great patch overall, I wish they had kept Tempest with 22 range though. I think the super-range concept will produce interesting uses that won't be seen for months.

It is the first of what will probably be many big balance patches, if you want to play mech in TvP make sure that Blizzard know that, and if you have a HotS account play the hell out of it and work out what, if anything, is lacking in TvP and help them tweak it till it's viable.
