Brining back the Carrier is a joke. Its in the fucking game since Release and in 99,8% of all Games we don't see Carriers... Blizz should stop caring about the Whiners.

I have a gut feeling that maybe the patch notes are wrong. The exact wording of the BC nerf is:

But wasn't the BC damage purposely changed to 10 as a design decision? And now the patch notes claim that it's a "bug," which is quite a contradiction.

how can everyone be so fuckin happy about removing the warhound?

as your casual diamond/master terran i was very much looking forward to finally having a 1a unit that doenst instantly die to aoe. it makes me angry, that people seem to be happy about blizz makes this addon a joke from a terrans point of view, with barely anything to look forward to.

Awesome Blizzard! Perfect buff to the Tempest, the Oracle buff seems REALLY interesting - I can't wait to try it out.

I'll be honest, I'm really worried about Mech in TvP now. As it stands... Carrier is the counter to Terran mech, except for when the Terran gets 3/3 updgrades and sufficient Thors to melt the interceptors/tank damage, or enough BC's to yamato the Carriers. Both Thors and BCs are Massive. I'm just worried that a Carrier + few tempest superlate game will literally be untouchable (not just unkillable, but untouchable).

wow this is so stupid they didnt even try to tweak it and not only that they also remove the new endgame buffs (bc/raven) from terran, wtf is blizzard thinking do they want to make terran shit in late game again?

Is there really a reason to remove it though? If It's so bad and barely used surely you don't need to get rid of it for balance reasons. Keeping both capital ships seems like a fine choice.

Now wont oracles just become one those units you get EVERY game because it makes you safe against EVERYTHING?

Don't get me wrong, Protoss needs so sort of response to the various status effects in the game that get thrown against them, but I don't think a mass-dispel cure-all (and prevent-all!) is in the best interests of unit diversity.

Obviously it is all speculation until it has been thoroughly tested, but at first glance I'm already seeing red flags. Would rather see Feedback moved to the Oracle or some other way of negating opponent energy than a spam click cure-all. :\

I like what they did with protoss but I agree that now void rays place in the game feels pretty limited.

Meanwhile waiting for the Warhound redesign...

People forget that the Oracle ability lasts 5 seconds, I foresee more engage baiting by zergs and therefore some cool micro.

Lol, any A move unit should be removed from the game. Unfortunately for Terrans the Warhound was by far the most broken A move unit yet so it got scraped. Also Terran has nothing to look forward too? Prior to this patch did you see what Protoss was getting? Also you do know it's a beta right? A beta that just started? If you think this is exactly what is going to come out on release day... well then I'm actually surprised you managed to even turn your computer on....

OMG I really love blizzard for this patch. Warhound is gone, carrier is back. This sounds biased as hell but I honestly feel Terran deserves better than warhound. I hope Blizzard is considering compensating warhound removal with something not so staple and much more witty.

Their changes seems to be spot-on with the majority of the opinions found in TL's threads. Like all these people calling out the useless-ness of the oracle and giving whacky or clever spell suggestions. ANd that's what Blizzard did, they gave oracle someone that isn't useless and a waste of gas and also improves Protoss but not to an overwhelming amount. They even took the effort of singling out Fungal and EMP so oracle's new spell doesn't negate it -completely- as those 2 are trump-cards in fighting against Protoss.

Carrier is back, Tempest has a lower range. While tempest isn't that overwhelmingly strong to begin with, its range was too provocative for defensive macro players.

I think the biggest "??" was the Reaper buff. I have no comments. It's just interesting that Blizzard thought of giving it such an ability.
