Haha no, 10% is not low and you don't even need special diet or exercise. Just being generally active and smart about what you eat is enough to maintain it. Of course if you're a fatass, getting down there requires some work but that's just how it is. I'm hanging around the 10% range because I'm not a bodybuilder or anything, I lift for fun and enjoy being able to eat pizza, fast food, etc if I want to. To rock a 6-pack or something (about 8-9%) would take me a LOT of work. Always remember genes play a big part. That's a terrible excuse to rely on. Genes will determine if you can be a professional bodybuilder or not (3-4% bodyfat), but ANYONE can look fit (10% bf). There is no "lol you're fat forever dont even bother" gene. It's like genes will decide if you can do the 100m sprint under 10 seconds or not, but anyone can get down to at 13-14 with hard work.

Your max under-consumption (aka starvation) under normal circumstances should be 500 calories a day. It works out to be a pound a week. Anything significantly faster than that can be really dangerous. The important thing is that you have to watch what you eat and have a proper diet. There are ways to lose more than a pound a week healthily, but it takes quite a bit of time and there's no reason to do it if your weight loss goal is any less than 30 pounds.

So should I be changing my lifting routine at all while doing this or just try to work in more cardio on top of everything else?

suppose i do a few pushups, chinups, bicycle exercise, planks and side planks...would it be better to do those exercises every other day or is it ok to do them everyday?? i know it's not much of a workout, but i thought i'd start out slow cause my overall level of fitness has dropped tremendously... advice would be greatly appreciated

But, if you want to develop those muscles and really want to gain on cardio and you're really working out your muscles. If you do those chinups, pushups and body-weight exercises until you can't do them anymore meaning you've exhausted that muscle group. You should try to give them rest so your muscles can heal.

The only exception might be the chinups. The every other day routine is for exercises that pulverise your muscles such that you need a day to recover.

Does it make a difference wearing a ski goggle in terms of performance compared to just wearing sunnys? Is there any other advantage other than it won't fall off your head?
