This some Deadpool shit right here That aged wonderfully, again! ![]() The funny part is also how incredibly weak Man City looked this game compared to the first, wonder if they are strong or Real just played really poorly in the first game.

Does it make much sense though? Knowing you field a player who cant do the full 90 - yes it brings stability the first 60 or so minutes but then you have someone on the field where the player himself knows he is just 2nd string, no time to get into the game. Because City lost yesterday as they were shocked and were not able to regather their mental fitness (which is understandable). Wouldnt it better to field someone inexperienced the first 60min, if you concede yes you still have time to score goals in return and once you are in a position where you dont want to concede any more goals you bring in the more experienced but not full fit player? Or if the replacement placed a good game, just leave him on the field and dont bring the not fully fit player in at all?

Then this player can make a difference in the last 30+ mins But who are we to question Pep's decisions.

Liverpool to win the final :p That said this leg was considerably tighter and even, and Real showed their mentality once again when it counts.

I was just wondering how you guys think of this generally because I have seen it so often that not fully fit players return for a game and cant do the full 90 and imo the last 20min are where teams are the most vulnerable anyway and by subbing people off you make it even more vulnerable

I think it’s more generally the sensible order. In this particular instance the main job was dealing with the threat of Vinicius, who is young and fit but will tire over 120 minutes If your 50/50 player is up to speed, great. If they’re not you have plenty of time to respond and make that change. If you start someone else, bring on Walker and he breaks down quickly, or isn’t up to pace then you are running out of time (or subs entirely) to make that change. I think if it’s a gifted attacking player you have who’s just returning from a niggle, you bring them on later when people are tired and more spaces emerge and hope they can do their magic.

Produce some good players, have good spells in the league and in history etc. But i wouldn't call them bad bad. Yeah same. Frankfurt is 11th only because they dont give a crap about the league when they are in the semi finals of the EL ^^
