Absolutely gutted to be honest. I really though we'd beat them.
To be fair to Bournemouth they were the better team on the night, despite some awful decisions which could have tipped it in our favour. If anything its a little sad for the EPL. Bournemouth fans are generally a bit horrible and their ground is shit. The EPL would be better off with a team like Forest in it. Then again, I would say that.
Onward to the playoffs it is!

holy shit that was two different games. Was getting a bit nervous for Kloppo after half time but you could cleary see the toll it took for Villareal to play this first half. Second half Liverpool could have scored another 5 easily

I think Klopp also said that Villareal played some very risky man-marking style. 2nd half Liverpool countered by exploiting the half-spaces a lot more that solved most of the issues.

I think that Fabinho goal, which you could argue was coming btw as Liverpool starting the second half very well, was the key though as the Keeper made a HUGE error there. If he keeps that out and maybe the hold on for another 5-10 minutes and all of a sudden its the 75th minute, the game changes again.
Still that didn't happen and Liverpool rode out deserved winners as expected going into that leg.

Regardless of how this ends, it still surprises me how vulnerable City look at times. I don't think they're terrible by any means, but they're not completely intouchable possession machine either.
