Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he respects Arsenal on the pitch - but he cannot say the same about how the Gunners conduct themselves off it. Well right back at you Pep

Benfica burned him so badly that I honestly doubt that his career can recover, unless he goes to a very small team and does wonders to restore his confidence in a pressure free environment. Otherwise, just another guy with a lot of potential victim of bad mental strenght and poor club management as well.

Villa beat Arsenal to move ahead of (and out of the relegation zone) Watford only on goal difference and then only by one goal. Watford themselves been thumped by City 4:0 to get us to this point. If City only scored 3 last night would they be level on points and goal difference? Anyway Villa play West Ham on the last day while Watford have the same Arsenal team that Aston Villa just beat so anything could happen. Bury have been reformed as a completely new club playing in the same stadium with the same fans right at the bottom of the Football League pyramid. So hopefully they can slowly make their way back up again like Real Wimbledon. Leeds will be playing Premier League football next season if anyone missed that. And Neither West Brom or Brentford can decide if they want to win another game or try their luck in the play offs. Brentford is a tiny team by the way and I'm getting bored of West Brom's yoyo up and downs so maybe it would be fun to have Brentford in the Premier Leagu (There are still play offs for one more team) And alos 5 substitutes is still totally toxic and must not be allowed to seep into to football. I'll keep reminding everyone of this.

For context, half of the current Premier League teams have been there for less than 8 seasons (in their current run). Yeah that's a pretty good run in the top flight. They have been relegated and promoted 4 times though. I'm not completely wrong about their yo-yo status. It's hard to stay in the top Flight. It's also pretty hard to get out of The Championship as Leeds have demonstrated, So it's not necessarily an insult to call a club a Yo-yo club. It's hard to get out of the Championship in the right direction.

Best player played against? "This is where I wanted to pick two. In my early days it was Zinedine Zidane. I was in my early 20s and it was probably the first time I had gone onto a football pitch and come off and been in total shock because I'd been in awe of someone. Just the size, the physicality, the power, the strength, skill, the size of his feet and the way he manipulated the ball. "The other one is Lionel Messi for sure. He is just a freak footballer, there are some that operate on a different planet from the rest of us. He is my modern day Diego Maradona." Steven Gerrard saying who the two best players he ever played against were :D

I'm a West Brom fan and while it would have been nice to not yo-yo around I was happy that they weren't spending more money than they had on gambling on staying up. So we were in that weird state of being good enough to get promoted but not good enough to survive for several years. Hopefully that doesn't happen again, but I would take financial stability over gambling on winning promotion/avoiding relegation.

Edit: Again YoYo may not sound like a complement but getting promoted to the Premier League four times is still a big achievement/s. edit: I misspelt were as where and you already quoted me on it. Damit. I'll pretend English isn't my first language, that's believable based on my posting history.

QPR went the other way going down swinging making it rain, spending silly money and then still getting relegated. So that's not necessarily better. Edit: Again YoYo may not sound like a complement but getting promoted to the Premier League four times is still a big achievement/s. That's cool. I thought you meant it as insult because of the context "bored of West Brom's yoyo up and downs". I'm probably a little over-sensitive about WBA because they've often been overlooked/dismissed. There are a worrying number of teams in the Championship running up big debts. Slaven is a great manager. He found some gems this season and he is getting the best out of Livermore. If only they could handle pressure ... ![]()

I can agree with this, though with CR7 and maybe Ronaldinho close behind. The latter kinda turned a sport into an art by himself
