Still good half from Chelsea, nullified Yanited and now Yanited looking very shocked from Baily injury and a bit lost offensively. Hoping we can see out this win without having to use Pulisic as well. | ||

Apart from anything else is there much of a market for him right now anyway? It wasn’t that long ago, although a long time in football terms that De Gea was putting in crazy numbers and was a big part in United even qualifying for European competition. Iirc United has the biggest gap between expected goals against and actual goals against for at least some periods in recent years and he was obviously the prime factor there. Goalkeepers are a strange bunch, especially those who play for the bigger clubs. You might not have much to do in a game, but you better not mess it up. Once the mentality goes they can end up a busted flush never to truly recover way more than players in other positions. At least down the table you can make tons of saves a game and maybe the odd error becomes less impactful. Could be he needs more pressure, a time away from the limelight or even a move to get back to his best, but it’s difficult to manage goalkeepers. | ||
