I agree, but an away win is a good start all the same. And the way they made Spurs look like a mid league Eredivisie team in the first half was impressive. I also found they stabilized a lot with Mazraoui for Schone. Not quite sure how that moved the midfield around, but seems to have taken the bite out of what Spurs were doing in the second half. So I am also quite happy with the ability to adapt as well.

Constant small fouls and at some point the obligatory time wasting, again yes ultimately a success for Ajax but that is probably why it somehow feels underwhelming to me. Also spurs 51% possession, 12 shots, 1 on goal. Stats sound exactly as harmless as they felt, really need son back to have a repeat of the QF madness apparently.

Yeah but the biggest value they would get from Son would need Laporte level brainfarts. Somehow I think this Ajax team wont do that. Heck 9 times out of 10 even Laporte wouldnt (and doesnt) do that.

I believe Liverpool has a small edge, their physicality isn't something Barça is used to and they don't play possession as well as previous years which helped countering the press. I think a goalless draw would be a good result for Barça.
