The way i see Dortmund being run is like a sports car having a 2 litre diesel eco boost engine inside it, instead of a flashy V8. Dortmund could join Bayern in terms of being a super club, upping ticket prices a bit not even majorly, and doesnt have to be everywhere. But if 10,000 seats per game went from €20 to €30 that would be an extra €2million there. Of course i am no financial expert and i did concede i have no idea about Dortmund of a club outside of what i see going on and financially what i read.
TL;DR - Dortmund could be a big club but isn't in terms of revenue, confuses me :D So, essentially, your entire argument is that Dortmund isn't a "big enough club" (despite consistent European presence and significant success in the last half-decade) and that they can't be taken seriously unless they sell out like everyone in the Premier League has? Last I checked, BVB is embarrassing every club in the PL while still making less - and yes, this includes stadium atmosphere. The idea that any English team can compare to the Westfalenstadion is absolutely ridiculous. I really don't see a problem here. BVB consistently outperforms PL clubs while still having a club and experience that is actually good for fans. I would never want BVB to do the same thing as Chelsea. They're the poster child for money ruining football. Oh, and everyone hates Bayern because they're arrogant dicks. No one hates them for the "Bayern way" because everyone knows that Bayern did it the right way; by managing the club and its money incredibly well.
But you dont understand, You need to make your fans sell their children so they can afford stadium tickets to be a big club.

Now people are back to complaining since theyve started winning again. who gives a shit about haters anyway. bayern have superb management, play brilliant football and accomplish a shitton internationally. dortmund seems to be on the right track longterm and they definitely have the best fan culture/ stadium hype of the all in europe so kudos to watzke and the fans
concerning the matches. wolfsburg will obviously get trashed. all other games have the potential to be quite strong, really looking forward to dortmund liverpool as well. hypehypehype

42€ for a 90min game? I paid 7,50€ for a seat at Bremen vs Bayern München (0:4) in Bundesliga 2007/08 which was my last game at any stadium I visited.

Do tickets to a game include access to local traffic in England? Interested in other countries aswell. Depending on the distance you have to travel the real cost would be much higher.

Away games you can get subsided travel, Chelsea do it for every away game outside of london. So next season its £30 away ticket plus £10 coach to and from other stadium or train i think if it really far north.

Don't come to Spain then. We have expensive tickets and people has less money. It is ridiculous.

But our spending power is much lower of course so it's hard to compare.

That statistic does not make the PL look good, just so we're clear.

You can go see Sevilla or Valencia play for 10 Euros..

I have a full ticket for all Benfica games, cheapest tickets with the supporters: - All of the portuguese league games - 17 games - Portuguese cup - could be several i think i saw one then we lost against sporting - Portuguese League cup - i think i saw 2 it could be at max 3/4 - European leagues - i saw 3 CL group stage + Zenit + will see the one against bayern and we could have one more
i paid 240€ plus 12€ per month to be a associate fan, with that only it's like 10€ each game, some a fewer less others a few more
The associate also gives us like 2 free tickets per year in our birthday, plus discounts in many big stores or services, like Repsol (Diesel), bla bla
About Dortmund's place in european club history.. i say they are much bigger then all english clubs besides Liverpoool, Manchester united and Arsenal.. they are way bigger then Chelsea and Manchester City!
Money is not the only thing.. much like my Benfica is way superior then Dortmund, City and Chelsea imo

hypeeeeeeee Bayern wins Barca draws
|
Oh my oh my finally the plot thickens ^^
Barcelona vs Atletico: This one is gonna be closer than people think. Prediction: 2:1
Bayern vs Benfica: Bayern will have a hard time in the beginning. Benfica will get tired after 70min of defending Prediction: 3:0
Paris vs Man City: The money game. Paris has invested better IMO. And then there still is Zlatan Prediction: 2:0
Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid: If Wolfsburg can score in the first 10mins we may see a game here else this will be sth for youporn... Prediction: 1:4
|
|
Hoping for a victory from Barça, although the first leg at home is always complicated to approach... Any victory even a 5-4 would be good I think. Atletico doesn't want to have to attack to qualify.
Predictions: 2-1 or 3-1
Bayern will win easily I think. They got scared with Juventus, they won't do the same mistake. 2-0 or 3-1.
