I've heard the chinese weightlifters ice their balls to allegedly increase their testosterone lol

Now that's broscience if there ever was hahaha. Awesome.
I might actually go for a ghetto setup with a mobile AC blasting air through the opened window. It will be horribly inefficient and loud but anything is better than the night horrors of the past few days.
Ended up going 122x/126/129x for the snatch and 155/160x/163x for the clean and jerk at my meet to qualify for weightlifting nationals yesterday. Most I've been able to lift in a while but fell 8kg short of qualifying. Oh well, back to the grind.

Can you put a couple of ice packs underneath your blanket and pillows? You could also get one of those fans that sprays water and use ice water to cool yourself off. Maybe take cool showers right before you go to sleep and don't completely dry yourself off so that the fan will blow air on you and make you feel cooler? Just a couple of random thoughts as someone who's chillin' (see what I did there?) with his AC on.

They sell the hard ice packs that kids put in lunch boxes that don't actually have any water in them and are very cold. Using actual ice would be pretty stupid.
Can someone help me, I'm trying to find a link to a trick for pushing your hip back into alignment that was posted in one of these threads. It involved standing in a door frame and pushing with one leg or something. It made my lower back feel a load better the last time I did it
Played nearly 36 holes on my home golfcourse today, then my knee gave out again. Tried to finish but the pain elevated to stabbing and made it hard to even stand so had to give up. Good thing it happened at the end of my vacation rather than at the start lol.
2 weeks of work now, then 3 more weeks of vacation, gotta look into some rehab, got a tour coming up.

I'm not sure I know exactly what you are talking about but I can tell you what I do.
Use a lacrosse ball on your glutes and hamstrings first. Take a heavy band and wrap it around your leg like seen in this video:
Then lie on your back with your knees in the air. Put a large medicine ball or foam roller between your knees and then squeeze them together as hard as you can while keeping your back on the floor and your knees in the air.
it's official, I've bought 25% of the crossfit affiliate I train at. I have great expectations for the place, I think the coaching quality is top notch, and the place is lacking mostly in proper administration and marketing (and needs a new, bigger place to keep growing)
Anyone with related experience or who feels can help me feel free to send me suggestions or ask for facebook contact info and chat a bit.

Any suggestion for the backne? No pimples in the rest of the body.
Go in the ocean.
I guess I'll give it a try whenever it's sunny enough. I live 50 meters from the ocean, but it's really cold water
I do remember acne being at it's best when I sunbathed regularly.
My skin has always been pretty meh since i was a teenager, and i ended up getting some antibiotics prescribed for my chest/back. Which worked ok, but worked much, much, much better when exposed to a decent amount of sun. Seems UV light can often really help with acne, my doctor said as much when i last went to see him.
super congrats on the partnership dude
i have same ance problem, possibly much worse lol (cant tell). we should totally hang out at the beach LOL.
my latest doctor gave me like a 4 month lot of antibiotics (tetralysal) . my skin cleared up completely after 2-3 weeks. i stopped taking them for a few weeks like 2-3 months later and the acne came back pretty fast. now i am taking them again but will run out soon. she said that something like roaccutane is still an option in the future.
really you need to get it dealt with or you will hit your 30s and then 40s looking like a burn victim. i sure wouldnt want to kiss skin like that....
i got a pizza delivery the other day and the guy at the door actually said to me "you got bed bug problem?" what??? "look all the spots, you got bed bugs?" *no im just...really shitty..............*

Wasn't really trying to lose weight in the first place, and now I'm back to my work weights from 1-2 months ago instead of from when I took the break. Fuck.
How many days have you actually been at the gym? One workout is not necessarily indicative of permanently lost gains. If you feed yourself and hydrate well after that workout you might be back to your more recent form within a week.
If you do stop working out you have to continue eating enough protein or you are at risk for catabolizing the muscle you've been building, especially if you suddenly start running a caloric deficit compared to what you were eating. This is exacerbated if you haven't been carrying that newly built and hard-earned muscle for very long. A guy who has been carrying a lot of muscle for 10 years is likely going to lose less muscle on a 10 day break than a person who has only been lifting for 6 months and has only added a few pounds of lean body mass.
your first workout after a time off is sometimes really shitty , like you can only lift at -20kg . then a week later you are back to where you were again. don't sweat it -_-
pro meal tip for the day:
3 (smaller) tin tuna large amount sweetcorn medium amount mayonaise = tuna mayonaise with sweetcorn (yeah im pro at recipes) dont need bread , just a spoon, but you can use it as sandwich filling if you want
i uploaded some workout (running) music here (edited most of the tracks to make them faster/remove annoying bits)

Strangely enough I was craving this last night but was disappointed to find I didn't have any corn in the house
Also, I have never had this amount of lat soreness, it is terrible lol.
Had a break doing nothing but drinking vodka and beer and eating insane amounts of seafood. Apparently best idea ever, since the break my workouts have been going really well. Back at lifting over 20t/week and I am on track to breaking my all time DL / squat records in August.
I also raced a friend just for fun on a popular mountain biking spot and when checking later realized I made it into the all time top 10 on Strava for that segment.
4 weeks after my Achilles tendon strain, was only abe to bench press up to this point. Finally able to squat and Deadlift with mild pain. Should be ready to rock n roll soon :D
