Eggs by themselves spike your insulin. Eggs are one of the most insulinogenic protein sources you can be eating for breakfast. There's a reason you get hungry a few hours after eating an omelet.
The custard also probably spiked your insulin and then you didn't really eat anything till after you got home. Bad idea. Spiking your insulin while on sub-maintenance calorie diet will just lead to catabolism which is why you feel like shit. You need to eat more and you need to stick to proteins and fats in the early part of the day if you don't want to be prompting your body to burn off your fat and your muscle. That's a recipe for setting yourself up for rebound weight gain after your diet.
6oz of meat is hardly anything. You should double that for dinner.

in short, your diet looks healthy, you just gotta eat more.
I'm not worried about the custard in terms of it being empty calories. Specifically I was asking about the effect it was having on my exercise for that day; would eating custard make me feel worse, reduce my energy, etc?

Yes, Yes, Yes.

eating a mini custard was probably the best thing you could have done after having like 50kcal carbs for breakfast before setting out on a challenging physical endeavour. wtf

I don't understand what you're getting at. What was wrong with my breakfast and what should I change?

I think he's being sincere. Don't listen to him.

he means you should eat more carbs if you're gonna exercise a ton.

Because you make ridiculous claims and have ridiculous opinions. You should defend them or abandon them.

If you are trying to lose weight the best way to do it is through diet. You don't have to exercise a ton. It can actually be counterproductive to do too much cardio and not get enough to eat, including carbs. You will be cannibalizing your own muscle mass which is detrimental in the long run for keeping your metabolism up.
But your best bet, like I said in the post I made at the top of this page, is to restrict your carb intake in the first part of the day, hit up the cardio without having spiked your insulin or eaten any carbs, and then get your daily carb allotment in after the workout with plenty of protein.

But you're not trying to have an argument, you're just looking for a fight.
|
Nah. I just know that there isn't much of an argument to be had. You drink alcohol and yet you think steroid usage is too dangerous. You admittedly aren't very well informed about steroids. And you disparage people you really know very little about by calling bodybuilders little man-children who are so insecure about their bodies that they are driven to take these "highly dangerous" steroids. If this is a fight, you're already down on the floor and the count is at 9.

Please take your argument/discussion to PM you two. I think we heard enough of it.

It's not an argument, just shitposting -_-
Changing the subject, I took a week off due to illness and had my first workout two days ago. It was straight legs, just squats, leg press, leg curls. My legs are predictably sore, but it also appears I squeezed the bar so tight I actually got pretty painful doms in my lower arms. xD
edit: oh, i'm a ghost now.

Did 75x chin-up yesterday, dedicated to infinity.
|
You mean to say you lifted yourself 75 times in a row? That's beastly.
|
Not all in one set of course lol. That was over a cumulative time of about 1.5 hrs. Did one-arm dumbbell rows which didn't help me in trying to reach 100
