I wouldn't say they collapsed, in fact Man City collapsed more than Man U. If the game between the two teams had been a draw, Man U would have won the league. It's not like Man U were miles away from Man City. And the first game between them was quite close until the sending off. Man U realistically do have everything in place to win the league this time around.

But with RVP the rumours about Lewandowski will stop. You don't get him! ![]()

Spain doesn't have teams like Stoke who like to play football the old fashioned way of im stronger than you, we will cross the ball and out muscle you in the air, etcetcetc. Chelsea signed Sheva @ 30 the best striker in Europe at the time, he couldn't hack the Prem and it scared his career, even though i loved him xD

Not as much as city, who actually have a strong midfield too.

Thing is, I agree that Man U definitely need some new players, I don't rate elements of their defence and midfield highly. But look at their performance in the league last time around. Also, so far City hasn't brought anyone in and with Man U adding RVP and Kagawa, I don't see how Man U don't have a sizeable chance of pulling off the league win.

Finding a counter to 3-5-2 is hard if you cannot keep the ball and get in behind them. Chelsea looked good countering city, but when city had their 10-15minutes of pretty much 80% possesion vs us they just won the game right there. Which needs to be stopped if your going to be them.

And City are likely to be stronger and more gelled than they were this year but then again, it's always hard to retain the league. Also, while City have depth at defence and forwards, they have a pretty thin midfield. Without Touré it's not nearly as dynamic. I think that this year is likely to be a better year for the Premier League and it should be really exciting. What's really interesting is what will happen to Arsenal. I am thinking they might surprise the doubters and at least get 4th in the league but perhaps they could even compete!

Sure they failed but to say they collapsed is wrong. They had a few poor results in a row. But not a collapse, a collapse to me suggests a string of 10+ losses and no ability to score or compete.

But Comeon , We had our Best Defender play 6 matches over the whole of last season and had 10+ players injured at one point of the Season while city barely had any Injuries..Still we lost to them by Goal Difference in the Tightest of Finishes to a Premier League Season.. I say we have a very............... Nah not gonna Jinx it.

He has 2 years left on his contract and bvb can't replace him so they won't sell this year no matter what. Next year, he is almost sure to go unless bvb can pay him what PL teams are offering. I hope he stay at bvb though.

City lost Kompany at a crucial time and the whole Tevez saga could have cost them the league, United managed to win when playing poorly I'll give you that but they never looked like Champions, the squad was seriously lacking and the signing of RVP is merely a cherry on a crumbling cake.
