I think there is still £20-25M in the summer spending chest, Dembele could be bought for that or less no? I dunno what Witsel would cost but hopefully Madrid have filled their CM needs now and are off him. M'Villa is also out there... Yes CM needed I totally agree. | ||

I just find it shitty he finally has one really solid season and now he's too big for the club? :p plus I don't think he's even worth the price-tag, 29 and fairly injury prone for £22mil or so? I dunno. Let's see if it was worth it, he now has a shitload of people who hate him so for his sake hopefully so. The Rooney-Van Persie prospect sounds exciting though I guess. | ||

RVP gone to Man Utd so funnys. He going put Hernadez out of the team along with Welbeck and cause problems for Fergie, that signing is official the worst he has ever made. 29 year old, 24million. One season of being good, then boom he is roting value. Crazy. | ||

An attacking 4 of Kagawa/Nani/Rooney/VP would be very fluid. However SAF does love the 442 and using traditional wingers, so we might see Rooney and RVP up top, Valencia and Nani/Young on the wings, and Carrick and Kagawa as CMs (not what I'd want but I think SAF will try this). | ||

He bought a world class player and you haven't even seen him play for united I'm sure ferguson has a solid reason for buying him. Tbh, of all the clubs he couldve gone to United probably makes the most sense practically for RVP since he wants to leave. He slots right in, Arsenal get some decent money for a player out of contract in a season that wants to leave. Juve was probably the only better fit but no one really wants to go to Italy anymore. Would Arsenal rather keep their best player and have him extend ? Well obviously, but it was clear that was never going to happen. A year on isnt going to convince him, because lets be realistic the chances of Arsenal performing well enough to win something with an unhappy RVP (as professional as he might be) are pretty slim. Anyway should be some interesting memes and hate threads going around that should be pretty amusing. | ||
