How have PSG only drawn their first game btw? >.< They were absolute shit during the first half and their defence looked really uncomfortable all game long. They should bench Alex, he's terrible. They had a great second half as far as offence goes, with like ten clear chances, with Ibra-Lavezzi-Menez linking up beautifully. Ibra scored two (his first goal was fucking beastly) to tie up the two scored by Lorient in the first half (one of which was an own goal by Maxwell :|). I still think they'll have a great season, with Motta, Pastore and SIlva still to play. Also, Man City has reportedly picked up Jack Rodwell from Everton. I fear that Rodwell will be another bench player and waste away in City.

You have the likes of Walcott, Gervinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santa, (new malaga player) possibly Podolski to all play in that position, guess it only natural the younger in experienced player gets sent out on loan. But i think he still needs prove himself, he did well at Bolton, and now he needs to really shine at Wigan, which i think he will as Wigan play football all the time.

With Cazorla just joining, Ryo won't get much playing time, so it's a good move. We have a bit too many wingers atm, so offloading Walcott or Gervinho would be nice. Yea kid has to get some more time at smaller clubs. Wouldnt want another Jack Wilshere, Arsenal are after all experts at times at rushing hot prospects in and then losing half of them to injuries that make them half the players they used to be.

It's going to come down to whether or not he can get some things that massively boost his confidence or massively detract. I'm also interested to see how Newcastle and Liverpool manage this season. For me the two most interesting amongst a lot of very interesting storylines. Yeah, seeing Torres vs Man City @ Villa park i was impressed with him again, heres hoping he scores vs Wigan so he can keep his scoring record up, if he starts the season well it will keep the press off his back. I see Newcastle finishing 8th maximun this time. Liverpool will probably be 6th behind Spurs

The kicker is that "Tottenham could raise their offer if they sell Modric and in that case the deal could be done". Fucking get rid of Modric already :@

I know that source is dubious (to say at least), but what are your thoughts about it? I sincerely hope it isn't true. We don't need another striker and it's questionable how will he perform this year. I doubt this is true. Fergie already has Rooney, Chicharito and Welbeck as top starting choices, I think it's unreasonable to believe he'd bloat up his offence even more with a player like RVP who would expect a consistent spot in the starting 11. I think RVP would sooner go to Real, who have expressed interest in the past, than to Man U. He'd have a better chance of replacing Benzema at RM, but that would be about it. He's got a good thing going for him at Arsenal, and it'd do him a disservice to leave if he's only looking for a champion's trophy.

In addition I doubt they're going to invest that much money into a 29 year old who they can write off after 2-3 years.
