ABomb. Now that's a blast from the past. The only thing I remember about him is that he's apparently able to recognize pornstars from close up pictures of their penis.

Ya I think HSC in the US would be insanely expensive, DreamHack is only able to do it with tons of major sponsors and doing 5 eSports at once and $100 entry fees. Just a bigger EU venue seems more practical.

Some people are comparing it to IPL4 (which was also in Vegas) but the difference is IPL4 production cost was around 1 million dollars. These donations are peanuts if you want to host an event in US. I think it's insanity and could go very badly for Take.

Let them do fundraising however long they want.

It's an entire passion project that's been able to do 18 amazing iterations. We can spend an hour fundraising for a big 20 .

I think it's possible, I mean it's not like they need a huge arena or sth. Maybe they could rent a villa or sth for a couple of days.

Also beat Bbyong 2-0 in IEM Sao Paulo.

Funny to think Bbyong's coach put up more of a fight than Bbyong

Meh, it's probably not gonna be close to an IPL poduction value, but if you can rent an Esport bar and have an skeleton crew for not an insane about of money. But in any case I can't see Take dumping bucket of money at it if it dosen't make business sense, he seems to be very good at managing his money.

What

I think Pengwin told that story at some point (during Starcraft Jeopardy maybe)? Not sure, it was a while ago. He and some other pros started quizzing ABomb and apparently he got every single one right.

But IPL 4 had an open bracket with more than 100 players, including pretty much half from Korea and all the flights were covered iirc. Plus the bunch of top casters to pay.

We have no clue of how much the total Costs would be. We have mulitple Setups ourselves and the Crew to run them. We basically Need the place , travel , Costs of shipping etc. IPL4 production being around 1 Million $ ? I dont think that is true - is there any article or more proof on it?
