I have a question for you: What do you think about early game ZvZ(R) map starting location disbalance? Example: Cloud Kingdom - The zerg spawned bottom left has advantage over his opponent, because of the larva - mineral patches distance?

I don't know what you could possibly do about it other than make maps where the mineral patches are always south of the hatchery. I suppose it would be possible to code workers and larva to spawn on the side that points towards the nearest mineral patch.

There is no removing rotational imbalance in a game that doesn't allow building rotation.
