I checked from Liquipedia so blame that for not updating but it still doesn't take away the fact you're comparing Fraer to Rain and TheSTC, it's laughable. Nerchio's good but he's not the best in the tournament and he's probably your only hope of the some Code B Koreans + TheSTC making a mockery of the EU scene

Are you seriously saying Rain is better than Fraer atm.? His last achievment was about one year ago, he has about 100 elo less with recent losses to Grubby, Sheth, Sase, Strelok...

3-2 in GSTL
4-0 in IPL
3-2 in the EG MSC

All in the past 5 weeks

I did say Team Leagues. Also. Like the other guy said, using elo as part of your argument not such a great thing to do.

His GSTL wins were against Sirius, Brave and Salvation, his IPL wins were against Western wolves and he has a worse EGMC record than Fraer. He did nothing, a decent eurpean could´nt have done as well.

The same Sirius who beat MMA last week who's a Code S champion, you're not making a great point with that

Fraer defeated GoOdy, who also defeated MMA. Transitive skill does not exist.

Now you're just making outrageous comparisons - MMA was in Code S this season and he got annihilated by Sirius, and you only brought up the NSH players cos you don't actually know them, Salvation is pretty ok for someone who recruited via the Ladder the old-school way.

Since you are pretending to be some kind of Korean scene know-it-all, you are certainly aware that MMA hasn't been in the best mental state following the SlayerS disband. I wouldn't read too much into a single loss in this situation.

On the other hand, you are definitely unaware of the european scene (no wonder you live in England - and yes that's an ad hominem attack but I like to display my french heritage by hating on the mint lamb eaters) Fraer is a solid player. A top tier PvZ in EU (not quite on Seed's or Rain's level of course but I would still rate it on the same level as finale's) and while Rain had good results in team leagues, nothing he has done there has been very impressive. He is just another Code B. And the vast majority of Code B is not the favorite vs. top tier foreigners anymore.

Nerchio is the best player in this field and the favourite to win this DreamHack. TheSTC is a contender but Nerchio should beat him if they meet.

I think you quoted the wrong person, revel8. I never talked about that. Nerchio's results are in fact the best argument that Koreans aren't the automatic favorites anymore.

I actually said early in the thread Nerchio should be up there otherwise the EU scene will be left embarrassed with Code B players taking the top spots, the arguments about some supposedly good player called Frear because he beat Puma in the worst form of his life and then started comparing him to TheSTC and Rain

Nerchio is there so not entirely true. Mana aswell

I don't really consider either to be top tier.. I haven't personally seem them ever do much. I guess its all based on opinions though.

Fraer has Nerchio's number for whatever reason. Like 90% win rate or something.

Fraer's PvZ is really good. His composure and patience during pushes impresses me. A lot of protosses would have settled for one big attack (and lost), but he slowly wore down the infestors.

Yeehaw, thanks to ZeddSC for casting, gonna catch the vods later, unfortunately I was eating!

I knew he could do it again!

Now we only need Nerchio beating Nightend and everyone beating Evaner and I'll be happy. VasaCast won't be, though.^^

Nerchio is currently 4-15 against Fraer. Man, he seriously is Nerchio's kryptonite.

Well, it was intended more to refute the claim by Mackus that Nerchio was not the favourite in this field. Nerchio has recently destroyed ForGG and beaten Taeja. He also crushed Naniwa and has beaten MC a few times recently. He got very far in his last DH and was finally knocked out by Stephano. I expect Nerchio to win this DH or come very close. Maybe one of the European Protoss players like NightEnd, Mana or Elfi can do something too.

Edit: Obviously my post had comical timing, considering Nerchio just lost to Fraer! Regardless, I think he is the strongest player in this field.

Seems like TLO was trying to do too many things at one time, attempting a Nydus all-in, then transitioned into Hive play which never worked because Rain was never damaged macro-wise.

I think It's not that bad but it's safe to say the Fraer has become Nerchios nemesis.
Most likely he is just difficult to read.
