That sucks, considering the other IEM events went off without a hitch. well, I think that's a wise decision since we play under constant lag (but not unplayable) here in South America since we have to connect to USA b.net servers, and maybe some pros won't stand for that shit. I have no idea what you're talking about, The only lag I have when playing is like 100ms that I've heard somewhere battle.net enforces on all the players. Maybe in chile you lag but I can play just fine here from brazil.
I have noticeable lag all the time (around 200ms), but if you say things are fine in Brazil then i believe you. Probably the difference is due to chile's shitty network coupled with the added distance.

Look at the details though: he has wins vs Roll, OptikZero and Tyler (not top players). Also 2 wins vs Anypro (korean). These stats don't tell anything.

Actually it's the lack of protoss in Korea GSL that made that record I guess.

Naniwa would get blown off and accused of whining for no good reason but Grubby is an eSports veteran with a ton of tournament experience and always very manner, if he is complaining there is a legitimate reason for it and IEM better damn fix it. Also there's a difference between filing an official complaint and storming off like a lil kid Indeed, but 90% of the people were just saying naniwa was whining, everybody had same lag etc etc. I hate when people state shit without having all the facts. The point still is, if someone like grubby complains it must certainly be true, but if naniwa complains he just a whiny kid. And I think this is sad. What is sad? The fact that Naniwa earned that reputation and now everyone assumes that? Yes assumptions are stupid. Judge on facts.
Fact is in back to back tournaments Naniwa was a whiny kid.

When grubby warps in a building, why does it appear solid before the portal starts? The outline of my buildings are always transparent.

I think around the time of HSC4 is when he lost his sponsor, iirc.
In game one Grubby paused because of lag/technical problems, but when the admin came over to help he wasn't much help at all. Unfortunately Grubby didn't know that at the time he could ask for a re-game so they could start the game over (because at the point he lost his scouting probe I believe) and since it was pretty early in the game there's a good chance Zenio would say ok.
That's all i kno

He got 233ms on NA server and he was from USA. I've heard some people saying that bnet enforces some ping on all players too.

Nice push from Grubby there but well held by Zenio. He's got map control and a ton of bases and will almost certainly see this out unless he really screws up. Such is Muta play's potency vs Protoss
