Feel so bad for Grubby :/ This better not cost him the tournament. He's too GM to ask for a regame though.

That sucks, considering the other IEM events went off without a hitch.

well, I think that's a wise decision since we play under constant lag (but not unplayable) here in South America since we have to connect to USA b.net servers, and maybe some pros won't stand for that shit.

I have no idea what you're talking about, The only lag I have when playing is like 100ms that I've heard somewhere battle.net enforces on all the players. Maybe in chile you lag but I can play just fine here from brazil.

Lucky this happened to Grubby and not Naniwa again. Naniwa would get blown off and accused of whining for no good reason but Grubby is an eSports veteran with a ton of tournament experience and always very manner, if he is complaining there is a legitimate reason for it and IEM better damn fix it.

Also there's a difference between filing an official complaint and storming off like a lil kid

Grubby seemed pretty angry and frustrated from the things he was typing in chat. Naniwa could have handled the situation identically and people wouldn't give his complaints anywhere near as much weight.

They would pass it off as Naniwa being Naniwa

Indeed, but 90% of the people were just saying naniwa was whining, everybody had same lag etc etc. I hate when people state shit without having all the facts. The point still is, if someone like grubby complains it must certainly be true, but if naniwa complains he just a whiny kid. And I think this is sad.

You are an idiot, sry. There are 3 Games, and the only one that has problems is Starcraft2.

League of Legends even has over 80.000+ Viewers...

Im watching LoL in the SC2 downtime, its a fun game that I would like to learn for when I get mad at sc2 and start tilting,

If you get on tilt by SC2, DO NOT TRY LOL, you will tilt even harder trough failure of teammates.

Idk it might not cost him. Zenio is probably the biggest hurdle in the group. iirc kas is kind of meh against protoss. but nightend is solid pvp, right?

What is sad?
The fact that Naniwa earned that reputation and now everyone assumes that?

And when you get down to the main problems they all lead to Blizzard. Maybe if it's a computer problem...

I hope more players follow Huks example and speak out against this. Feel bad for the players at Kiev even though only Nani (in his own way) and Grubby has spoken out against it. Bad infrastructure for the tourny.

Naniwa had a few incidents in the past that were BM or controversial or whatever you wanna call it.
Grubby has a history of being good mannered about everything.

Who would you take more serious in a situation where tempers might flare?

Not much of a surprise, Naniwa was a favourite in most, if not all of those match-ups.

Just a surprise because I checked results this morning, said he left due to technical issues. Checked again at lunch and BAM.

No kidding. Grubby had a very small chance of beating zenio with or without lag.

That's just reputation.
Grubby is the most mannered guy out there, while nAni is quite the opposite.
Imo it's logical that nAni gets treated differently because he behaves differently.
It appears I have been chosen.

But, to be honest, after going 0-3 at the last IEM h attendet, he doesn´t really deserve another invite.

yup.

would much rather see some good korean invites instead of Huk anyway.
