I personaly don't mind the 2 rax, problem is protoss and zerg both suffer if they cheese on econ but terran does not have that, no econ damage what so ever after killing a big amount it can move back and macro and just kill with it push.

What's so strange about that? That's how it usually goes if you're taking a relatively quick third while also getting tech and upgrades. Protoss stuff is expensive.

In any case, this is a good example of "just macro" not working out very well, and it's not like HongUn executed badly or anything.

He executed fucking horribly. As soon as he saw the banelings coming he should've forcefielded his ramp and bought time. If July tries to burrow under it his lings are worthless and his push is a million times weaker in general; if he backs up Hongun's macro kicks in. The execution was badddddd.

He did Forcefield his ramp, what are you even talking about? There is simply no way to not lose Sentries to bling drops in a position like that. Sniping the Core was a huge win for July, but that attack was worth it regardless.

No he didn't, he forcefielded on top of his army. He saw the banelings coming and didn't pre-forcefield his ramp. There's 100% a way to deny it, naked ovies can't get in there.

He Forcefielded most of the Roaches out. And no, there's no way to kill the overlords before they drop the banelings, and you can't run away with Sentries. His army was decently spread out.

No it wasn't and he let all the lings and enough roaches flood in. What's the point of keeping an obs on the zergs army if you literally aren't going to react at all? There's a huge timing where you're relying on good force fields; he totally missed it.

And if you're engaging their entire army you can't deny 6 ovies of banes; if you pre-forcefield the ramp, zerg can't engage at all. There's no way you burrow move up a ramp while your ovies get sniped, that's awful.

Ok, if you really think he could have killed all the overlords before they dropped anything, then I don't see any point to this discussion.

On a different note, I'm eagerly anticipating HotS, and the advent of multiple Zerg "pressure" builds that can easily kill a Terran, but transition into the midgame on even terms if they don't. Then I'll be able to tell Terran players they're greedy and dying to standard pressure as they cry in LR threads.

You seriously think 6 overlords with banes, with no protection, can snipe the sentries? Wow.

I dislike terrans in general but the slayers terrans are by far the worst. They do so much gimmicky bullshit and they introduced the incredibly boring bfh period
