Trickster, JYP, and MKP all tied for second in an Up/Down group. After two rounds of tiebreakers MKP advanced.

All the zerg advancing to Ro16 deserves it. Zerg is a race where you can only win by outplaying your oponent. Cheese and gimmicks wont cut it so being in code S as zerg means you are absolutely worth it. Crossing my fingers for DRG and coca to advance so we have 5 deserving zergs to challenge the terrans. Looking at terrans advancing I would say half of them are absolutely worthy. The other half is just gimmicky cheese players that would still be in code B if they had played any other race. I dont think its dreadfull with so many terrans advancing and the general terran domination but players like Virus and Ganzi in code S let alone ro16 makes me sad. Hopefully Ro8 will be a good mix of skilled terran and zerg players.

The only protoss i thought played well this season is Huk. Much to my surprise really. I think he is good but not as good as it seems he is now. Protoss is having a hard time but I really hope players like JYP and Sage will change that. They are much more code S material then HungOn and co. All the zerg advancing to Ro16 deserves it. They wouldn't do any better in Code S, especially JYP who has horrible vT. And how do expect people to play well when their race basically forces them to take giant risks? What solid macro play do you suggest on a map like Dual Sight? Where it's incredibly difficult to take a third and fourth?

You realize it's nearly impossible to take a third on Dual Sight? What solid macro play do you suggest there? Hongun better than JYP and Sage? I want some of what you're smoking

You realize it's impossible to take a third on Dual Sight? What solid macro play do you suggest there? Genius made repeated micro mistakes and bad engagements. I think his builds was fine but I think we can expect better control from a code S player. HungOn is just weird and I am not just talking about this season. He is generally not up there. I am not just hating on the protoss players though. Half of the terrans advancing are evenly bad if not worse. The difference is that as protoss you get knocked out, as terran you can advance. It's the sad truth I guess. As for sage and JYP I think they have potential to be up there but you are correct that we need to see them in Code S before we can be sure.

At least Hongun got decently far in Code S a few times. Let's see how they fare vs good zergs in Terrans in Code S, if they even get past up/downs.
