He has one play style, and if people don't let him get 3 expands up they're cheesers in his eyes
Edit: still one of the best zerg players in the world, just don't like his view on the game

No, its not that he is not a good player (which he is, not really the best, but good), but it is not his skill holding him back, its his attitude towards ZvP. He constantly criticizes the matchup and blames it for some of his loses, where it is just his mind playing games on him.

He WAS the best foreigner a few months ago. He made it into the R4 of two consecutive GSL's and was consistently beating IdrA. Losing to MKP isn't something to be embarrassed about as he is widely considered to be one of the top 3 terrans in the world and back then, most of the terran players were still figuring out how to deal with MKP's infantry heavy TvT style.
KOTB was all the way back in beta, wasn't it? How does IdrA winning an 8-player invitational in July, 2010 discredit people in calling Jinro the best foreigner around October-February?

Sad day for TL.
Hopefully Jinro stays in Korea and trains super hard. We need foreigners fighting!!
|
Maybe Jinro been feeling homesick and the back up plan been to move in with TLO and them in Stockholm. /end wishful baseless speculation.

|
Jinro gotta get his act back together again!
|
Sad but expected considering the recent slump for Jinro and Huk. Gl, hf, gg!

idra won a MLG as well

wow never saw this one coming.. i'm really sad for Jinro!
He is still one my favs tho but his play seems really lacking but he will figure it out imo!
GSL is tought not just because of the skill level but you try and prepare for your games the best you can and if all fails you just continue practice until next month.. that's got to be really tought for your mind.
GL Jinro i hope you return even better!!

I'm aware of that. My point was that Jinro actually was the best foreigner from the end of last year to beginning of this year (I will have to change "October" to "November" in my earlier post as for some reason I thought MLG DC was in September. Do you disagree? If so, why?

Nature has its ways. The weaker ones has to go and the strongest remain. I think both Jinro and HuK will fall down from code-A and leave Korea together with Haypro. Honestly, I don`t see any player with enough dedication and methodical approach to the game to keep up with the koreans, except IdrA.
I think it is definitely time to realize that the koreans are one step ahead, and will always be.
I just want the better players to stay, and that is what happened today. Jinro played like a beast a month or so ago though, oh well.

Without turning it into a balance debate, I don't see any Zergs out there consistently beating top level Protoss.

ohh and btw:
oGsMC IMMvP
also went to code A so it's no shame to loose

Are foreigners even practicing 12 hours a day like the koreans are? because if they aren't then its probably the difference why korea always dominate gsl. Common guys Koreans work really hard "Rock Lee" style. According to one of Idra's interview he changed teams because he couldn't handle the pressure of high workload.
Even so I wouldn't be studying medicine if it wasn't for the fact that I studied 14 hours a day beforehand for a few years... hard work pays off .... no need to be a genius to be good at the game...

Sigh, Liquid was 1-0 before I ordered the May season, and are 1-8 since It's all my fault.

idra too of course. He was getting higher every season and is playing better than ever now.
