OMG, I have yet to see HasuObs not get like a thousand overmins even if he's only on 1 base... horrible WC3-Macro. ^^'
He's in fact one of the better known ex-WC3-players that obviously wasn't able to adapt to a more macro-oriented playstyle and still plays like on day1 of the beta - gimmicky and low-econ.

No, he said that for Hasuobs-Lucifron.
Yes, for those of us watching the stream in Rob's channel it was epic hilarity. You had to see this announcer at work to understand the situation. (slightly upset that i was warned for the troll picture, that was the entire point of discussion)
anyway he is a native German and he would interview the players after their games, however his bad English (a cover?) combined with a cocky attitude made for some pretty BM situations.
as Bad Binky said, in the Hasuobs-Lucifron game, even tho Lucifron won, he still gets eliminated.
so the announcer said in front of the crowd, with both players right beside him "Well we have 1 winner but really we have 2 losers"
there were many more examples of such blatant disregard for etiquette but i cant quote with accuracy, so you're just going to have to wait until it hits youtube or something.
And yesterday he tried to get MadFrog to whine about terran being overpowered but MadFrog refused like ten times during the interview, at the end you could see MadFrog was about to kick his ass.

Sure, he may be creative, but he sure as Hell wouldn't be "creative" if he played Protoss or Zerg nearly as much as he plays Terran. In reality, Terran are just that much more refined than the other two races: the fact any mix of units works relatively well, as long as it has common sense, for Terran makes them very hard to deal with - moreso than Protoss/Zerg.
You can predict a Protoss move if you see 1 tech building, if you see a Factory against Terran you can't really make any "sound" judgement.
TLO brought us: - burrowed infestor harras (directly in the eco line) - there's one replay where he got dropped, the medivac flew back to the enemy's base, TLO predicted where the medivac was flying, moved an infestor to the other side of the map (he didnt had ANY vision of where the medivac was flying, just the which corner it was coming) and fungal grothe'd and thus killed the medivac. this happened in the beta right after the patch which would make fungal groth on air possible. for me this was "the move of the beta".. many ppl didnt saw this - he won A LOT of games as zerg with ONLY using infestor/speedlings where he was CONSTANTLY harassing the opponent, finding open spot where his zerglings could creep through etc. - hell, he used battlecruisers in a lot of games, expecially in the end of the beta - he invented the early "1 hellion, 4 marines into (cloaked) banshees" push - in his lategame he secured his expansions with Planetary Fortresses - he was one of the first one using his barracks/factory to scout his opponent (he was really doing that in early beta) - he was one of the first zergs who used their creep spread CONSTANTLY. he even moved his overlords over cliffs and expanded the creep. - he was doing colossus drops in the early stage of beta - do i have to mention he made nukes popular? - he is the master in transitions.. as other ppl mentioned he was doing all crazy build orders and did really well - he used brutalisks BEFORE the buff-patch - he used mindcontrol and infested terrans, unlike nearly every other zerg player - he did rarely mass roaches/hydras the whole game like many other zergs. he used all units in the zerg repertoire. in an interview he said that's the main problem of (german) zergs right now, they simply dont try stuff out and be creative. - mass queens
Good tourney so far. It was kind of a shame to see Gunrun and Rael get snubbed like that by ESL, which could have been remedied by just having a better line of communication. A simple, "We are going to be putting Idra's game on the mainstage with Day9 and Apollo casting, because yada yada (<-- insert reason here)" would have probably made the awesome crew at GLHF not have to sit there scratching their head for an hour before the next game.

Jea that kinda sucked. On the other side though its awesome that the ESL is letting them stream.
After watching Idra vs Naniwa it struck me how big the skill differences are even in this high profile tournament. Most of these guys are semi-casuals. I guess the protoss that actually would stand a chance in this tournament would be Nony, if he did make the switch to sc2.
